I tend to agree with you on that, but I also feel that with a combination of the older practices as illustrated and documented in that book along with widespread intentional Permaculture planting, WE could achieve an abundance of semi-permanent foodstuffs for ALL with little input of labor over time. I live in California and have come across and witnessed wild growing fruits such as apples, pe

Sounds like disguised suicide to me. I believe WE are here to Live as long and as abundantly as possible. Everything contrary to that is a premature exit and thus contrary to what Life IS. A mighty aged oak knows nothing more than to continue to thrust its roots ever deeper into the ground, and reach ever higher into the sky and shower more and more acorns down upon the Earth bringing yet mor

Are WE supposed to tend and plant the Paradise as part of OUR gig of being human? No carrots, no romaine lettuce, no grains or potatoes for the "raw till 4" crowd... Another very interesting book is "Tending the Wild". It's about the

I was a member here long, long ago so this is not trolling... Having said that, I have been lurking as of late and these sprout posts are bothering me. Viktoras and Ann Wigmore were the one's who motivated me to get into healthy eating back around the early 80's or so. Yet, I have noticed that all the promises of superhuman health did not pan out as expected, (Lovewisdom, Viktoras, Krok, TC Fr
