health is an obsession. its just food in the end. i know, i know... i'm going to get crap for this but with a background in addiciton counseling you have to realize sometimes it can and does go to far. think about it... if you were stuck in a situation where you had no control over what was prepared for you...would you freak out? can you handle having someone else prepare your food? can y

i have not noticed more sensitivities... over the last few years my eyes have become more sensitive to light (gotta have sunglasses now)... but i think its more of an "awareness"... of the body, mind, spirit...i know exactly what affects me when i have certain things b.c i'm starting with a "clean base" so to speak (in reference to myself.) ... not clogged by stimulants, a

fruit leather would be cute. even little snack boxes of raisins...? i can't say i'd promote making your own things... no one would let their children eat them, and you'd be out time and money there. c

i've been 80 to 95% raw for well over a year without knowing it...the last few months, i've been 95% more often than not, and some days...all raw. Though for me...i like a good 90% balance...and sure, i go all raw when i can. i love that, yet i do not beat myself up over what i can do.... enjoy and be proud of how far you have come! most people still don't know what a "raw vegetable"

oh yum. i had a massive bowl of apricots today...that were over-ripe (i got them at 50% off!) and .... it was a pudding. sooo yummy... i put ground raw almonds over them, but i can see how a thick almond milk or cream could be lovely with this. c

great discussion... i agree guys. i think certain foods just don't agree with certain bodies... though most are conditioned to think they do "fine"... on regular preservative laden food. ive eaten clean and close enough to raw for so long now, i can feel it when if a food has lots of additives, and artificial crap...i avoid them all now as they make me feel so icky. the bloo

i was talking to a colleague and friend of mine yesterday and we were discussing diet, and digestive health... (she's a hydro-colon therapist...for years...) .... she got to talking about how certain systems cannot tolerate much raw food... leading to more digestive problems than solutions... as well as talk about the blood type diet (such as that Os need to be big protein eaters, and avoid certa

alright. so i've dabbled back and forth, and a little here, little there... all the way but not all the way with raw foods for years now. i'm pretty much vegan, organic, play with blood type diet information, and acid/alkaline balancing.... there were times i would start up raw foods, and end up feeling worse...confused, (and usually gain weight, which is happening now...though i'm more r

i was on them for 6 years... for my bones (i needed the estrogen)... and then got off them... miserable. My hormones would not return to the right levels (nothing to do with BC...it was more just me) ...my mother also had an BC induced stroke due to migraine, age combination. and as much as i wanted to stay OFF them...i had to go back on them. if its the one conventional thing i have to d
