I have type II diabetes and I drink green smoothies, mainly spinach with bananas. I eat lots of fruit with minimal sugar level complications. Tho I would strongly suggest you stay away from anything that tastes extremely sweet as they will affect your sugar levels. I usually eat green apples, bananas, pears, peaches and berries. Nothing really to sweet. hope this helps. : )

Im going thru the same thing, oddly Ive only begun this emotional detox after months raw. The sadness is so overwhelming, I hurt so much and cant talk to anyone about it. Thank god for this forum. I search desperately for things that will make me laugh or at least calm the storm, but its very difficult. I will cry my self to sleep on many a night hoping for this to end, but it doesnt. I know alittle bit about this since I am a diabetic and was having the same exact problem u r having now. No one was able to help me, becuz the reality is that very few raw foodist are diabetic. I'd luv to share my daily intake of live nutrients. BKFST: Lots of fresh fruit, 3-4 bananas, 2-apple, 2-pears and a spinach and banana smoothie. LUNCH: More fruit with a large salad, tomoatoes, lettuce, carrots, broccoli, Cauliflower. DINNER: another smoothie, steamed veggies. Hi guys havent been on in awhile so I thought I'd leave a small update. I'v been five months raw and I'm down 41 pounds. Its been slowly coming off but the good thing is that is HAS been coming off. Well its been quite a month, i've been on a modified 80/10/10, meaning just smaller amounts of fruit than required. Last week was my fourth month raw and one month 80/10/10, and a lot has happened.
