Thanks so much for the replies. So if you were to do 5 things that would increase some weight, and doing it healthy and raw. What would you do? Yams? more nuts ( chewed well ), seeds, avocado, hemp, sprouted grains? If someone wants to make a list of some great suggestions that would help me out huge! thanks so much everyone.

haha, i move tones on stage! I think i am way too short on calories. Guess, i need to get more...but worry how to get them and be healthy. been raw for two months and havent found a great balance yet.

btw....my daily diet is. 30 min run, 30 min weights. *good chunk of pineapple *3 strawberries *handful of raspberries, and blueberries *1 apple, 1 pear, 2 bananas, 1 mango, 2 plumes *5-6 dried apricots, 2-3 dried figs, 2 dried dates *1 big salad, handful of spinach and kale. with, carrots, red pepper, onion, beet, broccoli, I also munch on a handful of sunflower seeds, pumpkin

Hello Folks, I have been raw for over 2 months now...100%. I weighed 153 pounds when i started. Just so you know i was a vegan for 3 years prior, eating 70% raw. So it wasnt a huge huge change. I now weigh 137 pounds. I have also been running for 30 min a day 5-6 days a week. Not sure why i am losing so much, but i am looking super skinny. Looking quite unhealthy. Very boney. A

Hello, Somedays my face is looking good, but most of the time I will get a very pale white face complexion. Nothing too ghostly, but i notice it...and so do others. I am assuming this could be a lot of things, might be hard to figure out. I do get dizzy spells on occasion. any help? thanks willows

Hello, I heard that eating apple, pear, apricot seeds are great for getting vitamin b17...which is also linked to preventing cancers. I read that eating an apple with it's seeds is healthy for fiber and b17, but if you were to eat a cup of the seeds alone it can be dangerous. So moderation, only eat the seeds of a fruit " with the fruit "

hello folks, So i have been working out at the gym every morning for just over an hour. 30 min of running, and 30 min of weighting lift and such. When i come home, what would you recommend i eat? Hey Folks, Question...I read that if vegetables have a bitter taste, spicy or sour taste then they are likely not to be eaten. This would mean that plants have set up a defense and even toxins in it to prevent being eaten. Would you agree with this? Hey folks, I've been vegan for 3 years, and now raw for 27 days! It's been soooooo amazing. I cant even tell you. A friend of mine was bringing up the question that " cooked food kills of any harmful bacteria disease or pesticides...blah blah blah " I understand that it also kills of all the enzymes and nutrients too, so whats the point right? Hey folks, curious about dried fruits. I buy organic figs, apricots and prunes from the local organic health food store. They taste sooo good, Just wondering if im eating to much? I have 2-3 figs, 4 apricots, and a few prunes everyday. Along with a handfull of goji berries. is eating that much dried food ok? thanks, lovin this forum willows

I sliced Zucchini with a carrot peeler...thin. And cut them like noodles. Then the sauce was: Two tomatoes, 6 sun dried tomatoes, 1 big red pepper, clove garlic, 1/4 onion, olive oil, chillies, cilantro. tossed it in a blender with little water ( very little ) that's it! toss some sea salt and black pepper!

for me, from 8am till 9:00am just water, maybe 1 to 2 litres then when that passes around 9:45am to 11:30am i snack on fruits. Usually an apple, pear, orange, fig, apricot, plum, banana. I also will snack on a handful of macadamia nuts and pecans shortly after. around noon i have a green smoothy. Kale, chlorella, spirulina, wheatgrass, salvia seeds, and cilantro for lunch

Hey gang, I have been trying out " raw for 30 days ". It is day 18 and going very well. I was vegetarian for 3 years then vegan for 3 years, and now over two weeks raw. hey gang, I was wondering about sprouting beans. I was told that beans are not digestible if uncooked. And toxic in some cases ( kidney beans ) But, if you are sprouting does that eliminate these problems? Can you soak kidney beans, chickpeas, then sprout them safely? Im pretty un educated when it comes to sprouting beans thanks!
