Hey everyone, The script for the steroids is still in my purse, so I haven't gone to get it filled. Last night it was still spreading, however today the reddness and inflamation has gone down some, but I'm still terribly itchy. Zits have popped up in the middle of the patches too.. so yeah I'm just a mess!

So my boss sent me home today because I looked so gross. The rash has spread further so I went to the doctor. The told told me that it's an allergic reaction to something. She gave me some steroids, but I am going to try and just wait it out.

I did have some capped mushrooms and they had a bit of a stinging taste, but they were organic and I just thought it was because they were sitting in the fridge for a bit. I ate some the other day and I was ok. I woke up this morning and the rash has spread. It's covering about 78% of my body. It doesn't seem as scratchy. If it doesn't start getting better in the next couple of days,

I am in week 2 of my raw transition. I've done very well except for Saturday and Sunday where I ate junk all day. I've been back to eating healthfully however this morning I woke up and I am COVERED in a rash. It's itchy, red, and blotchy. I'm assuming my body is revolting against me for Saturday and Sunday, but is this common? Any tricks for getting it cleared up quickly?

I don't think I've ever eaten an olive. I'm afraid that they will taste icky. One day I'm going to get the courage to try one.

Last week I spent around $140 (for 2 people) on a trip to Wholefoods. I just bought some staples, nothing frilly except some almonds and stuff. I was a little turned off by how expensive it appears to eat healthy, but after adding up the last 2 months' bank statements - I average about $400 a month for food for myself. Regardless, I went to the Farmers' Market here in Phoenix today. Not only

For my entire life (I'm 21) I've been the poster child for the SAD eater. As opposed to getting a gastric bypass (which I had scheduled for mid April), I've decided to give raw a go and postpone the bypass (hopefully forever!). I've tried other diets in the past, but never have I been excited about changing my lifestyle. That is not the case with raw foods. I'm so excited to be healthy and ea

Joe - Those sound so simple, yet good. I've been throwing chunks of this and chunks of that into my smoothies. Tomorrow I will try a simpler mix.

Well.. we are under the impression that veggies give you gas. Think about a bean-o bottle.. it has pictures of veggies all over it. Thanks to everyone who gave their input. I look forward to low maintenance poos.

I was using the entire stalk, including leaves. I feel comfortable now leaving out the celery and substituting other greens. Thank you all for your input and suggestions.

Hey Kris, I was reading that spinach isn't as nutrishious as celery and other greens. Is this true? I would prefer to eat spinach allll the time, but I am also scared about not balancing my diet enough.

So today is day two of my green smoothie breakfast.. and I'm just not happy with my end products. 1) Alternatives to Celery. From my understanding, celery rocks. It's good for you and has all kinds of nutrients. The problem is that I don't like it. I have been cringing through my smoothie which should be delicious because of that bitter celery taste. What alternatives are there to celery?

Yeah, I'm going there. I'm planning on switching to raw, but before I do, I like knowing what I should expect. That brings me to my question: how is pooing to raw foodists? is it particularly smelly? odorless? bright green? I suppose that brings up another question. Pooting! Are you all gassy? Thanks for your answers in advance! Morgan
