and be sure to put the extras into your compost heap..! i think you may want to go easier on the radish and carrot tops than you might with other things..the radish tops are quite bitter..The carrot tops are a bit difficult to blend when you use lots of them. alice

I have heard of people who set their thyroid all out of kilter by eating kale in huge quantities day after day after day..in smoothies.. But they ate a LOT , and they ate it for months on end, daily.. From what i understand, if we are moderate and use lo

Thank you all for your kind responses. Yes, i guess my body is signaling me to leave off for a while. being rather slight of stature, i feel that i need something with the protein content of bananas in a dense form.. It is not easy being raw and getting enough dense food, i find. Dense food without high fat content , that is.. I do have trouble digesting high fat foods..They usually

about 4 months, i would think..on a consistent basis. But i have been interested in diet and health for many years ( like about 38) and have done this whenever possible over the years. But never made a point of "insisting that it be that way" inspite of social and work concerns..Because it is not simple to make your life revolve around it.. But it sure is worth it when and if you c

This is terrible.. Bananas have been a mainstay on my raw diet..( three years).. I do quite a bit of variety, for me, but prefer eating really simple menus. I blend quite a bit.. for my 'fruit blends', i often use bananas. i am really underweight and try to eat the more dense fruits ..like bananas and avocados. I only eat a half to one avocado max per day..cannot digest any more..

my experience is a lot like eecho's..also my comments..Eating at noon and 5 pm would maybe work for you..Actually, i just re read the original post. I think the sun comes up before 7 am at least at this time of year, so you could have a blended drink then,perhaps.. still think noon and 5 pm also could be possible. I believe Paul says that eating two meals a day may be best, but i think that
