When ever I see a Blendtec vs Vitamix comparission the vitamix is touted as having a superior sharpened four blade design. The tamper is suppose to be a plus as well as the manual speed control.
But if you look at the commercial Vitamix machines
They actually resemble the blendtec blenders rather than their home counterparts. It looks like the newer machines have the single blade desig

I just bought a tray of wheat grass from the farmers market no less than 24 hours ago. I didn't think to inspect it too closely because the growers are suppose to be reputable. When I got home, I noticed this (you might not be able to tell anything from the third one)
Is that white cotton like stuff normal, or is that the start of mold?

What is the difference between Spirulina and Super Blue Green Algae?
Do Spirulina and Super Blue Green Algae lose nutrients in the freezing/powdering process? If so, how much? If not, then why isn't wheatgrass powder more popular?

Thanks for the responses. I contacted an allergist but they didn't want to give me any information about how they do testing or what a typical treatment is without coming in first. If they can't tell me "we draw blood" or "we swab your arm with a bunch of things" before they see me then I really am not interested, something seems wrong.

I usually go all organic. I have noticed this allergy with conventional and organic foods. As far as bananas go, I have never had a problem with them, organic or conventional. Yesterday I had some organic celery which have me a mild tingling. Apples and Berries are usually not a problem. Cherries and Lychee always are.
