I'm a little perplexed about the difference between what is being sold as a plant fertilizer and a supplement. I would prefer to buy the powder and i'd like to make my own concentrate. If you have looked at some products the 2 oz have 45 doses, there's a 1 oz with 90 doses and there gallons 128 oz with 32 oz. So it's probably an extraction method used but there is no distinction about the

I've already mixed it into a blend that's easier on the palate. I may have put more kelp than what most green food blends put. I may try to mimic the ingredients in the salad booster green blend that I like: Sprouted pumpkin, Sprouted sunflower, sesame, white chia, spirulina, Himalayan salt, Chlorella, dulse, kelp, dill, cayenne, lemon peel. Dill & Lemon peel stand out as flavor enhance

I have mixed kelp powder with other green powders. The smell is not appealing so I was hoping I'd get some suggestions on what dried herb powders or seasonings I can add to this. I notice some green powders have dill in it. I'm not sure if this is added to enhance the smell or what. The fishy smell isn't working for me. So far I've mixed it with Chlorella, Spirulina, Garden of Eden Perfec

I'm considering making my own vitamin tincture. I'm looking to include Vitamin B12, B6 & zinc in the appropriate amounts I need within vegetable glycerin and water. (Food sources aren't good enough so I need to go this route) I'd like to avoid the fillers, magnesium stearate that most pills include. It also helps to put everything in one container instead of taking so many pills. I've f

I have been pretty excited since hearing about the benefits of both of these acids. But I'm reluctant to try any brands since they all seem to claim they are the best and that other brands are contaminated. Is there any credible humic/fulvic acid brand you guys trust?

I've been using Urban moonshine's bitters. They've worked for me but the bottle is running out. So I've been interested in trying others. There are the well known bitters sold in Liquor shops I've been curious of. Namely Angostura and Peychaud's bitters. These bitters were initially created for digestive purposes. Would there be a notable difference between these bitters and the ones so

I've found a place that sells bulk $239 for 50lbs ($4.87/lb), $414 for 100lbs ($4.14/lb). . Looking for commitments. Let me know if you want to split a bulk. I'm in San Francisco so it would work out if you are local.

powerlifer. I will be starting on mastic gum once it arrives in the mail. I've been using your recommendation for bitters. Aside from that; apple cider vinegar, Oregano oil, aloe vera, cayenne, crushed red pepper, ginger, d-mannose, fermented probiotic foods, b12, turmeric, papaya seeds, coconut oil, garlic (lots), vitamin C etc. I've been adding these little by little as it's not going aw

I just started sprouting in an attempt to rid myself of H. Pylori. According to wiki on broccoli sprouts; "Eating the raw, unsprouted seed could provide high amounts of sulforaphane, but seeds also contain the antimetabolite erucic acid, which is metabolized during sprouting, so eating seeds is not recommended." I was hoping someone here would know at what point would it be safe

rzman10001. I took an antibiotic a little over a year ago for no reason at all. The doctors misdiagnosed and, while the tests were sent away to confirm, I was given the antibiotic. A week later I came to see the embarrassed doctor who sheepishly stated that I didn't have anything afterall. The UTI just happened over 2 weeks ago and I cleared it without an antibiotic. I'm so happy I didn't

I read your article powerlifer. thanks, On the topic of probiotics aside from your recommendation in the article would suppositories be a better option. Granted that I just started taking probiotics but after 2 weeks it feels like I'm just barely keeping the next infection at bay. Our stomach acids kill a good portion of the probiotics we supplement with so would suppositories be better opt

Oil of oregano does feel too potent. Dosage recommendation is 30 drops, I take 5-6 drops and let it sit in my mouth. Update; The thrush has diminished substantially 1 day since eliminating the Perfect Food powder. I'm relieved but at a loss about powder supplements. I hope that this has come because the item has expired. No other factors involved in what is causing the thrush. I underst

It's coated white with the tip and most of the top feeling like it's been burnt. I have sores on both side edges of my tongue that sting slightly. I used hydrogen peroxide to relieve it. The probiotic I crushed and swished on my mouth helped relieve the issue the more I used them. This along with apple cider vinegar and garlic made it go away. I'm using the same treatment now except I've

Yes Tamukha I am taking probiotics. I suppose my body is detoxing through my mouth then. Otherwise I feel amazing but I'm going to stop adding the powder. I asked Garden of Life customer support if Yeast can develop from their expired product (even though it's just a month). Never got an answer in their reply. I suppose they have to avoid questions like this for legal reasons. Thank

Hello all I had what I believe to be thrush about 2 weeks ago. It went away using the typical remedies; probiotic, garlic and no sugar and yeast. Since i'm trying to get healthier in diet I've started using a Garden of Life Perfect Food Green Powder. I've been feeling amazing since taking it Unfortunately the thrush has come back. I can't think of any reason but the Powder. I'm going t

thestorm thanks I'll take a look at both of those Powders. Amazing Grass looks interesting but it's made with e3 live which also has AFA from Klamath Lake. I don't understand why these companies still use Klamath Lake algae. This makes me question the motives and all the products they sell. There's also more quantity in Vitamineral at 17.8oz. Powerlifer I'll take a look at Enerfood. I

I've read most posts here regarding superfoods and only until recently have I given them a thought. My health has been compromised recently and it, for the most part, was due to b12 deficiency and the lingering effects from an antibiotic I took last year. So supplements have been on my mind quite alot. Although a healthy vegetarian who juices or blends consistently I haven't relied on supplemen

Hey Curator. Thanks for the advice. If I understand correctly the antibacterial under arm treatment is an anti bacterial soap wash. After which you use jojoba, lavender, tea tree & rosemary oils for scent. Can you share the anti-bacterial soap or treatment you use. Having shaved my pits once I didn't have the smell issue. I did of course use the Crystal spray and that was sufficie

I may have to turn back to the aluminum sticks. Have been using the Crystal spray. It isn't working. I also have Toms long lasting 12 hour Aluminum Free Lemon Grass stick & I'm not getting the protection from this also. Actually it's definitely worse sort of equivalent to putting fructose on your pits. So what do you guys use. Thanks
