Hi John, thanks for researching and posting that information. I'm getting a little confused by the conflicting information I am finding. Dr Mercola says a person with Beta Thalassemia Minor should be avoiding iron high foods as these can cause Hemachromatosis (iron overload), but then some people say to eat heme building foods ?? Hi, I was wondering if people in this community had any experience with, or advice for people with the blood disorder Beta Thalassemia Minor who would like to eat a raw vegan diet. Taking Iron supplements is not an option for me as it causes Iron overload in the liver of Thallesemics and as a child I was mis-prescribed Iron for 14 years which damaged my liver. I've been vegan and partly raw vegan
