Quotefresh that guy is just clueless, sorry to say. of course he doesn't appreciate bananas or mangoes or any of the other fruits he mentioned. 1. he doesn't eat all raw - fruit is difficult to appreciate when eating cooked. 2. he's obviously not properly hungry to appreciate foods 3. he's probably sitting around doing nothing from the looks of it. 4. he wasn't satisfied because when you

I had a bit of a crisis lately. I'm not so sure that raw foods are really good for me right now. Yeah I haven't been perfect 100% raw vegan, but I've been pretty good. Lately it's been hard to hold myself accountable because even when I was close to 100% I still felt worse. I've felt worse since trying raw foods. I want to feel better. Maybe I'll try again later, but for now no. I'm even dough

I want to try sprouted buckwheat. Is it a good thing to sport? Can it be made into poreage or does it need to be too green for that to be healthy? BFF sent me a sale flier from cultures for health on all sprouting tools. What should I get?

Is sprouted buckwheat healthy? I kind of want to try it. How would I have to do it? Soak for how long, and then is it edible or do I have to wait for it to sprout a plant? Is it better than fruits?

Has anyone figured out if summplementation for vegans is recommended? I wonder if maybe cravings could be b12 or D because I always crave soy milk or creamy things.

Unless he has diabetes fruit and vegetables are healthy sugars that provide energy the brain needs. If they are raw and fresh theyll have all the enzymes you need to be healthy with the sugars. some people think dibetes isn't caused by sugar, just by bad fats disrupting how the body handels sugars.

QuoteRawPracticalist For the best juicer it depends on what you want to juice. Greens, fruits, or grass like wheatgrass. The best overall juicer is the Norwalk Juicer but it is very expensive. For juicing greens I would go with the Green star or Green Power They are more powerful and more efficient for greens than the omega in my opinion And they will last a very long time.

I really want to try raw buckwheat porage. I've been seeing it everywhere, and cereal is a big binge food for me. I'm thinking if I can get the mental satisfaction of cereal with the nutrition of raw food it will help me to not binge. Should I sprout the buckwheat or do I just need to soak it for 1-2 days? I finally am going to invest in a juicer! I'm looking at the Omega 8006 like BFFs. A

A few weeks ago I went full semi raw vegan again. I feel better and haven't gained any weight since removing animal foods entirely. Here's what I ate so far today: Warer with lemon juice Vegan fat free pumpkin muffin Two slices Ezekiel bread Sprouts Avocado I plan on making veggie lettuce wraps for dinner. I had a blood test done for hypothyroidism but the results came back negativ

I'm glad your doctors auve been so nice. I hope you're able to improve your health and they find out what the problem is. I got tested for hypothyroidism but the results came back negative. I have my results and am taking them to a naturopath as soon as I er the money sorted out. Feeling sick sucks. I don't want to take supplements but I want me body to be healthy enough to get them from my

Thanks. That's what I did before, and the only overt fat I ate was some chia seeds and a little avocado. Then I started craving almond butter, and eating that. I gained weight though even with probably 90% raw? Did I eat too much fat? Quotefresh >>>How do I increase my healthy fats, or should I? Leafy greens have fats and so do all vegetables. Do I really need extra fat? I need to los

15. Fats?
I am not raw right now but I want to be raw again in the future. Last year I was raw for several months, but I just couldn't find a balanced diet for me, no overt fats, plenty of leafy greens, fruits, a sprinkling of chia occasionally for the n-3 fatty acid. My gastro has suggested I lower fiber and include healthy fats. She also recommended cooked vegetables, so I'm doing a little bit of cook

Hi everyone I'm still alive, mostly. After I posted last I saw my gastro and we talked. I've gained 18 pounds in total but managed to lose 6 since I posted last. I don't know how that happened. We talked about how maybe the excessive fiber wasn't what my IBS needed and how she actually found the same thing was true for her. I haven't been raw really, or vegan, and I have been eating the occas

I have had IBS for awhile and have been mostly raw for almost 5 months. I;ve been constipated for 6 days now, and even though I'm drinking senna tea I still cant go. I have an appointment tomorrow to see my doctor. I feel awful. I don;y have a ton of motivation to stick to raw foods and have been craving bad foods all the time. I mostly eat moist vegetables and I drink a ton of water sometimes

One of my reasons for becoming fully raw is IBS-c, but if anything it's got worse especially lately. I have been eating less fat, so I've reduced my intake of chia and flax seeds. Would adding those back in help? I haven't lost weight either, so I don't want to eat a lot of fat. I eat mostly raw veggies, salads, greens, and fruit and bananas. I really need your suggestions. Sometimes even

I am ashamed to admit I had French fries the other day. It was a moment of weekends that I'll pay for by feeling so horrible blah like u am now. I will take the opportunity to do better in the future. I just really wanted something warm and comforting, but it wasn't worth it.

Thanks guys. I have yoga three times a week, and I try to practice at home the other days. I've had a hard time with modivation and energy lately though, so I haven't done as much. I need to get back into that for sure. I will try the tea idea for sure. It's one thing I didn't realize how much I missed since going 100% raw.

I've been having a lot of trouble lately keeping raw, and I've even been craving non vegan foods again. What do you do in cooler weather? It's not cold here in Georgia, but it's damp and chilly. I just want to cuddly up with a hot vegan PS latte. Should I be eating more fat? I've been avoiding overt fats lately trying to lose some weight, but it hasn't happened yet. I don't want to change

I've been having a really hard time with raw foods lately. It's just the cold weather, and I know that raw foods are warming, but it doesn't feel that way. Just a mind set I have to give myself, but it's hard. I've been talking to BFF again. It feels good to be on speaking terms again. But it's by helping with the cravings. She's in full on stew and pumpkin spice mode. I need to make som

That vacation sounds so awesome! I totally understand feeling awkward about food, but it's great that you stuck to what you k own is best for you. I really want a juicer. I can't find any that look okay and are masticating for that price, or I'd buy it.

I don't know anything about what to do in a situation like that, but I think the police could help with the stolen identities/abuse IF ONLY TI GET YOU YOUR PAPERWORK. I promise I'm not dead! I have actually been doing pretty okay. I've been probably 95% raw for the last month at least. I haven't been totally fat free, but it's been less than before. A typical day for me will start off with a glass of lemon water, then a green smoothie. For lunch I always have a humongous green salad, with tons of veggies, lemon juice, and on days when I really really crav

Such a great thread. Thanks so much for the support. Maybe I need a reminder of why I chose not to eat our animal friends every once and awhile. Im definitely not craving chicken or flesh at least. It's just the creamy foods from milk and cream (and other mammary foods). I threw out the almond butter and bough bought two avocados which are ripening on my counter. I think this will help with moder

Wow I had no idea you didn't have a refrigerator. That's another benefit of not having to keep around raw meat and milk which would spoil.
