Mine are usually just organic bananas and organic tender greens. Sometimes I'll add a pear.

Peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches. I used to not be able to get enough of popcorn with tons of nutritional yeast flakes on it. I used to eat a LOT of salt. It would be rare anyone would catch me saying "Eww this is too salty!". Now I don't eat any.

I've been following the 80/10/10 lifestyle and my daily menu looks like this: Fruit for breakfast, fruit for lunch (when I eat lunch), fruit as a first course before eating a salad at dinner. I'm keeping the overt fats low, but sometimes I will grind 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds with a dressing of bananas and celery or something like that. Or if it's been enough days between overt fats, I ha

I no longer like the taste of guacamole! Who would have thought? I used to dive into the good guacamole (my own recipe) and never feel like I had enough. I made it for the family and took a tiny taste, and I didn't like it. The family said it was delicious as usual, so I guess it must be my own taste buds telling me differently now.

2 books I can think of: Carol Alt's "raw" (she eats Raw fish) and "The Raw Food Detox Diet" by Natalia Rose (she recommends some cooked fish I think)

I am 100% raw but I don't believe it's the only way (for everyone). I've seen people who are high raw but will eat some rice at dinner (similar to "Fit For Life" methods), or will choose healthy vegan options on occasion. I've chosen 100% because I believe it's where my body wants to be. It's helped a lot of medical problems of my own to vanish. It's entirely a personal decision f

I finished watching this on google video the other day. I too am fascinated with this family and they live such a wondrous, ideal lifestyle with their children. Storm is a very handsome and healthy, and Jinjee looks like she's in her 20's. She is gorgeous! Their children are beautiful! They are also very talented musicians On the google video, at about 43 minutes into it, Jinjee is sitt

I am married, an at home mom with 5 children (4 of whom live with us full time). I don't work outside the home, but I do after school care on occasion for my good friend.

The other day I ate mostly mono bananas, (but not the whole day) due to that being the most abundant fruit in the house at the time, and I felt extremely satisfied the whole day.

Those same things caught my eye, Gosia. The key points in the article are very good, and there was a lot to be learned. The "recommendations" at the end though, make it very clear that it's not a "raw food" article. Peace, Ariannah

In my day to day life, I tend to be a closet raw fooder. I don't go out much socially, but when I do, I opt out of social events where the opportunity to compare what's on one person's plate vs another presents itself. I like to just eat what I eat, and live joyfully. And with every person I encounter, to have the situation be about shared interests and goals and hopes, not about food and li

When I first heard about eating raw a couple of years ago, I hadn't browsed sites on the internet. So, taking it literally, I bought my favorite fruits and salads, and just ate. I never felt better. I just ate food almost exactly the way it came from nature. It wasn't until I read further that I discovered that other people were indeed doing what I was doing, and it was called "mono

I am the only raw foodist I know of in real life. I kind of don't mind it, because I don't get out socially with many people where food is involved. I'm in Nova Scotia.

Natalia Rose wrote "The Raw Food Detox diet" a couple years back. I borrowed it from the library but didn't wind up buying it because it didn't encourage 100% raw, which for me, personally is how I have chosen to live my life.

I cannot pinpoint any one thing. For me it is mostly health, and wanting to leave a smaller footprint on the earth. Health - On 100% raw, I no longer suffer the misery of - waking up choking on acid reflux, terrified to go to sleep for fear of drowning myself. - constant heartburn during the day - headaches - staying overweight (the weight is coming off) - winter depression
