Does anyone have any idea how to make raw Hummus that tastes like cooked hummus? I was at Cousins in Chicago and their hummus is AWESOME! I have heard they don't use chickpeas, so I'd guess something with sunflower seeds and tahini? Any and all help is greatly appreciated as I'm missing some good hummus. Also, if anyone knows how to make those great Go RAW crackers to go with the hummus, well

My wife and I have been raw for 2 months now and we were also raw all of January. We don't have any plans on returning to a cooked vegan/veggie diet. I've got some raw friends who have told me of mass cleanses where they feel very cold/vomit/can't sleep/muscle aches etc. This lasts for about 2 days and then, once cleared, they feel much better then before. I have heard from many that these ev

we get them from Whole Foods, the Ohh So Fudge, The regular kinds, and the Chai types. They are all awesome, but they are just too expensive. My wife and I are all about supporting these producers, but we are not all about getting ripped off.

My wife and I go through Raweo's like it's going out of style. I'm talking 1 bag/2 days. The problem is that they are crazy expensive (almost $1 per cookie the size of a quarter!). Can someone please help me with some direction as to how to make them? A recipe, guidance, anything would help. For reference they are made with soaked almonds, cashews, raw honey, lightly roasted carob (is this e

Has anyone experienced what we seem to be going through? We both seem to be at a level of weight loss that will be tough to get through, granted we do have some non-raw meals, but out of the 21 meals we have a week, at least 18 are 100% raw. Will it be a slow, steady loss from here on out; or will we begin a down trend at some point in the future? Thanks again for all the posts, Bruce (Em

Hi, My husband and I have been mostly raw (probably 75% at least) since January 1st. We have had the occasional slip- up, especially on weekends with friends. Anyway, we are both looking to lose about 30 pounds and improve our overall health. I am stuck- in two months I have lost a little less than 10 pounds, and I am getting frustrated! He has lost about 20 pounds and is at a plateau. I know

the raw type of course. If anyone knows how to make this dish with both a carob cream and a vanilla cream that'd be a plus. I just had some in Chicago that was served on a bed of crushed almonds, strawberries, and the two creams. It was awesome. Thanks, Bruce
