I've been assigned by the Colorado Daily to write about raw fooding. I am as familiar with this as anyone who is 70 percent raw would be. But I'd like to include information about people in Boulder who have cured a medical condition after going raw. Deadline is January 2 !! I do not live in Boulder and have no connections to the city, so I'm hoping someone here is from Boulder and has a cure stor

JGUNN, To answer your question about the magazine article. I came upon three names of women who claimed they cured their cancer by going 100 percent raw, and they rejected conventional medical treatment. However, get this: The first woman I heard about from a forum user here, and I contacted the woman by phone and left a message. The woman never called me back. Hmmm... The second woma

ERROR in posting, I don't know how I quoted Jgunn when I meant to quote "Fresh." My reply to Jgunn was meant for Fresh. Fresh has something of an attitude.

I am very big on juicing, actually. But it's very expensive in that it takes, for instance, a ton of cabbage to get just two ounces of juice from it. Nine ounces of organic blueberries convert to four or five ounces of juice...but nine ounces of organic blueberries out here costs $8 !! I can't eat blueberries whole; can't stand the taste, same with blackberries and raspberries. I can tolera

Flax seeds, I have always heard that eating the whole seed, it will go straight through your body, and the only way to get its nutrients is to eat them ground up. So I'm wondering if I'm getting anything worthwhile from my flax seed crackers

Here is why these items are very important: 1) Turmeric. Kills cancer cells in lab studies. 2) Green tea extract. Kills cancer cells in lab studies. 3) CO Q 10. I'm perusing this forum and I see you have type 1 diabetes. Do you take insulin now that you've been 100 percent raw? I saw no mention of insulin injections.

I'd like to hear feedback on some very potent antioxidants that you cannot readily get from raw fooding: 1) Turmeric. Yes, I know it's a spice, but have you ever tasted it? It does not agree with me in the least, so I have no choice but to take a supplement. 2) Green tea extract. Yes, I can drink minimally steeped tea, but in order to get the therapeutic benefits of catechins, you must drin

Nobody eats those delicious raw flax crackers that are sold in the raw food section of whole foods market? When I finally buy a food processor, I'm going to make raw chocolate balls.

Don't mean to alarm you, but see a doctor because prolonged periods is a symptom of uterine cancer, though this does not mean that there aren't other, more common causes. But just something to be alerted to.

I don't know if anyone has already suggested this (I didn't read all the responses), but simply and casually ask your husband to present to you, all the nutrients that a person can ONLY get from meat. See what he says. There is only one nutrient you can get only from meat in decent amounts: vitamin B-12. But everything else the body needs (protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, potassium, ant

The Fruitarian one: Thanks for noticing my post, and thanks to the others as well. I went to your Web site and didn't see any e-mail contact for you. Are you interested in sharing your knowledge of fruits/raw food and building muscle? You have a lot of muscle there and I'm very curious as to what sustains it, since we are led to believe that a lot of protein is necessary for such muscula

I know he's on this forum somewhere, the muscleman who holds a big bag of oranges on his web site, but I can't remember the web address nor his name. I need to speak to him desperately. If the fruitarian is reading this, please respond with your web site so I can contact you privately. I did a search on fruitarian and came up with no leads. I want to interview you for an article I'm writing ab

I just ate fried potatoes -- Wait, before you jump to conclusions, it was an organic Russet potato diced and fried in virgin olive oil. The rest of the day was mostly raw, with exception of organic grain bread. Do any of you believe that the fried potatoes "undid" the enzyme consumption of the rest of the day? Of course not. So what, then, is wrong with an 80 percent raw diet, as

No negatives on whey, other than some whey protein mixes contain artificial sweeteners and other questionable ingredients like maltitol, also some artifical flavors. Watch out. Also, AVOID SOY AT ALL COSTS !!!! Maybe whole soy is okay, like tamari or miso, but soy shakes ??? Processed warped molecular hormone-skewering stuff.

Hi, I'm new here. I don't know if this is the right forum category for this, but I'm looking for success stories. The success stories forum says to direct questions to the "discussion" forum. I am a journalist, and I have read two archives on the Living Nutrition site of women who claim to have cured their breast cancer by going raw or semi-raw. I've read several other similar sto
