I was just diagnosed with early breast cancer. I had surgery for thyroid cancer last August. I am overweight, am trying to reduce while fighting my thyroid. I also had radiation treatments in the 1970s which may have contributed. I heard flaxseed is good for breast health, and beet juice is good for detox. I try to keep raw, and drink green smoothies. Help!

I worked at a school that had a pie day on 3/14. (Pi=3.14) None of the pies were raw, so I didn't eat any.
The raw chocolate pie looks delicious!

I ate oj and a peach for breakfast,
raisin bran muffin for lunch,
tomato, green pepper, onion, green beans and veggie burger for dinner,
apple and tea later.
I usually walk a mile, but I worked two jobs and shopped for groceries.

I like zucchini noodles with marinara sauce. What else can you use for noodles in the winter if you can't get zucchini? Spaghetti squash, maybe?

I have been 75% raw for about a month. Some days are 100%. I too have difficulty dividing my meals into breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I think this is a great motivator. Tomorrow, I will try 100%, and will post my meals.

For the past two years, I have had a few chalazions or styes on my upper lid which needed to be surgically drained. Does anyone have experience with these, or a natural way to avoid them.
