Interesting. Jennifer didn't come from a great gene pool. Both her mother, Patricia Faulisi Schutt, and her maternal grandmother, Theresa Faulusi, also died of breast cancer in 2011 & 2010, respectively. At ages 52 & 76, also respectively. From the on-line article I read from employees at the restaurant where Jennifer worked, the sixth week at Gerson was $6,000, and $1,500 had been rais

BTW, Adult Adoptions can be strange in the few states that allow them, which includes California. I know of an attorney who arranged for adult adoptions for a wealthy client who wanted to leave his small, but very prosperous company, to his two right-hand men who had been with him for years. He didn't however like the idea of The State taking a very large part of his company in inheritance taxe

I see that Mary MacVean's Los Angeles Times article of March 6, 2015 on Patricia Bragg has now been added to the Wikipedia citations. And that now PB admits she was adopted by Paul Bragg as an adult after her divorce from Robert Elton Bragg in 1957---as I've been saying for a long time. See "Patricia Bragg, a Living Testament to Healthful Habits". No Bragg blood courses through her ve

I believe I mentioned previously that our City Library has, among many other things, bound books with the actual death certificates of our area's citizens going back to the late 1880ties up through the year 1904. Out of curiousity, I spent over an hour recently going through just one of those books. I, out of hand, chose the book with last names starting with "R", and for the first t

It seems to be questionable that Mr. LaPollo was as old as he claimed. Google "Incomplete or Fraudulent Cases" for a whole group of people claiming advanced ages, including, but not limited to, Mr. LaPollo. According to records, he died in December 2015.

Well she admits to having cosmetic surgery on her eyes when she was age 36, and again at 46 & 56. Also that she fell onto a glass coffee table in her 50ties, and had to have her nose completely redone by taking bone from her hip. Her comment to an interviewer was "All the raw food in the world is never going to fix droopey eyelids and sagging skin". She also told the interviewer th

1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Actually they were married on March 31, 1976 in Los Angeles County by a Jehovah's Witness minister and were divorced about 3 months later. Gilroy died on July 1, 1977 at the University of Southern California/USC Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, at age 22. His death was investigated by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, and on 8/17/1977, his death was officially a

SueZ: Your second paragraph is "almost" correct, in that Paul left almost everything to Patricia via his Will or through joint tenancy. The "almost" involved $2,500 cash bequests to each of his two daughters, which amount they DID receive from his estate at his death. In the event of either or both of the daughters being deceased at Paul's death, their children (Paul's gr

SueZ: To answer your Paragraph 2 question, I don't know when Patricia Pendleton first met the Bragg contingent or Paul's fame & wealth at the time. If you Google "mauitime.com/culture/in-the-name-of-the-father-Part-2" (which was part of an interview that the Editor of the Maui-Time(Hawaii) Mag did with Patricia some years back), Paul was there almost from the time Patricia cam

No, Patricia married her first husband, Robert Elton Bragg, son of Paul, in April of 1952 (divorced 1957), and her second husband, James Cameron Gilroy, apparently a Live Food employee, in March of 1976 (divorced about 3 months later). No 1962 marriage that I know of. However, there is still a question of whether she was also married previous to Robert Bragg; their divorce papers raise that poss

Par for the course for Patricia Bragg & her fantasy stories. The first instance that I'm aware of where Paul Bragg claims relationship to the Confederate Civil War General Braxton Bragg was an interview with William Helton of Honolulu's Sunday Star Bulletin on August 4, 1969, to wit: "Bragg was born in Virginia in 1881 and says his great-grandfather was Confederate Gen. Braxton Bra

Banana Who: To get back on track of the subject of your original posting: 1. As far as known, Paul Bragg had 3 biological children with Wife #1, all now deceased; none with Wife #2, who divorced him in the early 1930ties. 2. As far as known, Patricia Pendleton Bragg had no bio children from her two marriages, although when she married Paul Bragg's son, Robert Elton Bragg, in 1952 in Pho

Now as far as Patricia Pendleton Bragg's actual family background. Her great-grandfather came to California from the East Coast---Maryland I believe---during the California Gold Rush, circa 1849. Two of his sons eventually went into the salt processing business in the San Francisco Bay Area around the turn of the 20th Century, eventually organizing the Continental Salt & Chemical Works, whi

It was known "to change on a dime" even back in the 1930ties, to wit: From Paul Bragg's 1930 "Health Food Cook Book", "There Are No Meat Recipes In This Book", Chapter III, Page 15: "Meat & all flesh foods are unfit for human use. Meat is a corpse; it is a dead animal....Why should humans make graveyards of their stomachs?". From Paul Bragg's

What do you want to know? I have extensive info on both. It became quite clear early on that both Braggs went beyond telling tall tales to essentially reinventing their Life Stories. With the internet & its genealogical sites, unfortunately nowadays, it often comes back to bite you.

And she used the title "Dr.", but ignored questions as to its source. A few non-believers posting there were trying to fi

Several years ago I did some research on the use of the title of PhD in the US, and found that surprisingly, there is no criminal charges that can be attached to its use in any state. Of course if one applied for a job claiming having an accredited PhD, it would be grounds for firing, but nobody would go to jail. I found that the State of New Jersey at one point was considering making it a crimi

So, RP, you have no idea if the 1/30 1900 cancer death figure came from "teams of universities professors or scientists" OR just off the top of somebody's head with an agenda? Next... BTW, the study Robinson, Hunsberger & Fred C. Westall co-authored was accepted for publication on July 26, 1994 and was entitled "Suppression of Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Hairless Mice By Die

RP: Tell us exactly which statisticians made the case that in 1900 there was only 1 case of cancer amongst 30 citizens as Mr. Rose's post claims? Surely there would be a public record of it somewhere as it would be very important data, & then EXACTLY how that conclusion was reached. I've never seen it; have you? If not, it's like that famous claim of a few decades back that more women we

Since the Good Doc. Robinson still apparently "believes" Eydie Mae died in an accident even though he personally knew the Hunsbergers, jointly & severally, for decades (recall that he introduced them to Linus Pauling in the 1970ties & that he, Mr Hunsberger & a third person whose name I can't recall are listed as joint authors of some kind of scientific paper involving rats &

So, given the lack of good reporting (some U.S.states didn't even require birth or death certificates until several years into the 20th century) or often the tools and/or ability to even accurately diagnose a condition was lacking, the "fact" that only 1 in 30 deaths in 1900 was caused by cancer is totally unreliable.

Frankly given the state of medical science 115 years ago, I've never understood exactly HOW a cause of death could be determined accurately back then, save for terminal accidents, suicides or crimes. Since the History Room at my city's public library contains thousands of copies of our county's original death certificates from 1895 through 1904 are available to the public eye (on-site only), it

I noticed in that Brian Clement interview I cited above that he claimed that 65% of the people coming to, I presume, the Boston HHI came because of Eydie Mae's book, and that "over a million copies were sold without a penny being put into advertising." The circa 1993 Second Edition only says on the cover that "over 300,000" were "in print" (which would probably be r

Difficult to know at this late date what was going on in the Hunsbergers' minds, but it does seem that there was a rush to publish considering that Eydie's cancer was diagnosed in 1973 and her book (written with, & even mostly by, somebody named Chris Loeffler) came out as early as 1975 with her cancer claimed "cured" as a fait accompli. The circa 1993 2d edition publication, not u

It's at "Food & Degenerative Disease-Commentary-Net", the on-line publication itself is or was called "Access to Energy", and its Publisher is or was Dr. Arthur Robinson. Looks like the article was published back in 1998 as part of Vol. 26. Although my memory was faulty as to some det
