hi, i definately did NOT like avacados when i first ate them. since i have made guacamole on my own i could eat nothing but for days i am sure! i put lots of onions in it (i hope that onions are good for me!) and that made it taste better for me. now i like avacados on their own. have a great day, take care, mindy

hi coco, thanks for the information. i love almonds so maybe i will try to make my own almond butter. i am a teacher so peanuts are off limits to me at work, generally all nuts are off limits! i think that i will try sesame seeds because that would be an option to take to school. thank you again, mindy

hi everyone, thank you for the information! after reading maui_butterfly's post i am not sure that i will eat peanut butter again!! thank you for the websites utopian life. i will check it out for sure. i have been trying to eat apple and peanut butter when i really want something like chocolate and caramel and stuff, it has been working, so i hope that it keeps working! thank

hi everyone, i just have a quick question, is natural organic peanut butter raw? i am not really sure if heat is produced when the peanuts are ground... i really like having apples dipped in peanut butter as a snack, i was just wondering if this would be considered raw? thanks for your time, take care, mindy

thanks avocadess! that is a great idea. i love pumpkin seeds. i am really VERY new to this, so i probably have the stupidest question known to man...but, when you get pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds to sprout you get the hulled (raw) ones right??? for some reason i was thinking for a bit that they wouldn't sprout if they were out of their shells but the almonds that i soaked did a good job

thank you! we have been trying to do fruit and yogurt for breakfast. i know that the yogurt is not part of the vegan diet but we are just starting! my husband actually loves just the fruit so i think it is good baby steps. we usually blend frozen berries into the yogurt, and we love the idea of smoothies so i think that your plan is great! fruit smoothies for breakfast, yum! thanks!

thank you all for your ideas. i already have matt amsden's book rawvolution and i am researching more. i already know that i want the benifits of eating healthy and i do already eat some raw things like guacamole and toms of nuts and seeds. i love to prepare food so the idea of trying new recipes and feeling better about it is great. i have stomach issues so i think that this will really help
