I loved reading about this!! I have been MIA from the computer for a while, and have missed this thread. I have been wondering how it was going for you phantom! It sounds amazing! So, what else did you notice? Was there a weight gain or loss? What about your skin? Any difference? Energy was good right...once you got past the camping trip? So many questions!! And, the 48 cups was what you

Thanks for the support Rawsun, I hope you have a great time on your camping trip. Today was bananas and watermelon - mono eating at meals, and tomorrow I am hoping to be on track with all watermelon. We'll see how it goes. I would love to get the recipe to the jicama raw salad at some point - probably not here, but on the list? Or the recipe section? Would you mind posting it? I love jica

I am still not in yet - have been fasting more than anything actually, and eating a ton of watermelon and lots of bananas along with it. Haven't been feeling well at all and no foods are really interesting me. Luckily I haven't lost any weight and am holding on! I think it is because I haven't done anything so to speak. It must be some sort of detox going on with me, but its miserable. So, I

I am in!! I will write more tomorrow, but am looking forward to starting and going for it. I am not even sure yet what my goal will be, although I think in fact, that I will just make my goal "to listen to my body, check in regularly and take it one day at a time." Can't go wrong there! Tomorrow going to get another huge watermelon!

I LOVE 80-10-10 Couldn't be raw without it - even though I sway from it, and change it up a lot, I have to go back to it when I start to feel myself slip off the wagon.

I am so drawn to mono eating pineapple and bananas (seperately of course) and don't really have that much of an issue with the mouth sores even fm the pineapple. Today for breakfast I ate an entire big one! I am looking forward to enjoying the watermelon the same way.

Okay - let's do it! Anyone else in? My only concern is that I do not want to lose weight and am not sure I can hold my weight with JUST watermelon. Any input? Is anyone else up for the challenge? I think that F1 is already watermelon feasting. Wed or Thurs works for me Phantom, should we set up a new thread to talk in the diary section or just talk in this thread? I am not sure how

Okay - so what is the skinny on blending - or juicing? I just juice the rind? and blend the fruit? Then mix? I am with you cocoa nibs with fruit on the go. Sometimes it is all you can get - the other day we had to stop while travelling at a gas station and all I could find (luckily) was a lone pear sitting in a basket. After a good wash, I sunk into it and was so thrilled not to be eatin

EZ Rider - I am totally with you. I am back on track, but had an emotional breakdown, and really just hit a wall! Today I was at Salad Creations and I couldn't resist the garbonzo beans, even though I knew that they just came from a can, ugh....and the peas which I also knew were previously cooked. I only added a few, but it was heavenly - two things that I always love and never have anymor

What about a magic bullet at work? I know that many people DO have blenders at work, first heard it from Victoria Boutenko and her green smoothie movement. I typically will take a stainless stell thermos as well and drink within a couple of hours. It is still better than cheeseburgers and frenchfries anyday....EWWW!

Tell me more about the "green bags!" I have a box - but have been hesitant to use them because someone said that they have more chemicals on them than fruit(or veggies) with pesticides! They say "natural" but so do animal crackers with hydrogenated oils in them.....so the natural thing is still a bit sketchy. Anyone?

Wow. Since going all raw, I have only sinkers. Before with lots of heavy fats, floaters. Such a strange topic but I have actually been wondering about it myself.

Also, is anyone following Tanya Zavasta's Quantum Eating? WY? I know that you were moving toward it at one point, but am not sure how you are doing on it now. Would you recommend the book? It is a pricey one, for sure, and I am wondering if it is worth it. Thanks!

I have a question about iodine as well - and am also breastfeeding my son. How do we get it? I have seen it on other threads, but don't really even understand the importance of it. It isn't something that Drs typically recommend, not that I ever go to the dr - but it isn't a common reference to something lacking in diet in the mainstream world. Any info?

Can you tell me a day in the life of....? It seems that my addiction to cooked food has reared its ugly head due to the emotional stress I am going through, and I am just wondering how to get back on the wagon again. Don't want to steal this thread, but am wondering if you can just give me a quick rundown of meals. Thanks! VF

Tanawana - can you talk more about how you kept tweaking your diet? What worked and what didn't? What is best for you now? I am working issues out in mine, and just would like to have your experiences to take from as well. I wish I had advice for you A lyer, I just am in a stuck place myself right now. I will be thinking of you and hoping that it all works out for you the way that you

Thanks DZM for looking - that event was May 2nd I think. I thought for sure there was a raw food festival in asheville but I think I dreamt it!?! I wish I had more time to plan it, my husband just told me about the ticket a couple of days ago and now I am scrambling to come up with a plan. I have a three year old and a four year old to throw into it as well, so it limits whether or not I go fo
