I just have unbridled admiration for your openness of heart to be with a meat-eater/smoker/drinker. I get so repulsed by odors, especially smoke and perfumes but also the meat. Oh, so gross. I really admire those who can look past the yucky physical stuff. I think you're more evolved.

BTW, that's one of my favorite oxymorons ("You're so judgemental!" along with "STOP TRYING TO CONTROL ME!" Irony is great! FWIW, I sign all the petitions and write letters but re

the site is and it seems legitimate. I couldn't see that many prices but did see nut milk bags for $4.25, which is an excellent and fair price, much lower than other sites.

Throwing up is just way for the body to purge itself. You'd probably feel better if you just let nature take its course and throw up. Water with lemon in it often helps nausea (it cleanses the liver). I agree with Bryan that the less you eat the better; and with his advice about probiotics. If you have rejuvelac or natural fermented foods like sauerkraut or kim chee that will help too.

Can you believe it? It's one thing to put crap like that into packaged goods, but when they do it to fresh produce -- sheesh!

I don't mind that people are making money. They can't do that without providing value, at least to some people, even if I don't find their offerings of interest. The raw gurus are at least as big hucksters as any others. Most of them set off my sh*t-meter big time. I don't think they're leeches, just opportunists. I do best when I focus on myself, on what I want and what's best for me in

The white slimy stuff is the meat. You scoop it out with a spoon and that's it. My understanding is that coconut milk is the coconut water blended with the meat.

For me, the cravings go away when I eat plenty of sweet, juicy fruit. Doing that solves the cravings for me pretty well.

I tried a durian a couple of years ago. I just had a few bites of some frozen durian. I know this sounds crazy, but the aftertaste or aftersmell stayed in the background for about a year and a half. I have no idea how or why that happened. But I have absolutely NO desire to ever try it again!

It's a great addition to your kitchen. I use mine a lot when I'm raw. I have the 4 tray, which is plenty for me. The 9 tray is better and there's not so much difference in price. I had the 9 tray and it was too noisy so I sold it and got the 4 tray. I live in a very small space so and the larger fan size in the 9-tray was too loud for me; but I'm the only one I've ever heard having that reaction

Dandelion won't keep in the cold weather, but you can dig a root cellar and keep carrots, cabbages, and many of the winter squashes and other vegetables. Also melons. You would do better with sprouts for green veggies. Cold framing is another great idea. I cold framed for a few winters in Iowa and had fresh greens for all but the 6 coldest weeks. Are you going to be way out in the wildern

I have a KTec and it's not as noisy as the reviewer says. Not by a long shot. I'm really sensitive to noise and don't go to concerts (other than classical) for that reason. So if I'm okay with the noise, you likely will be. The reviewer also said the KTec was complicated to use with all sorts of preprogrammed speeds. There are preprogrammed speeds, but there's another button that you just pre

You mentioned yours had a black resin. The Foti shown on the botanicals.com site looks dry. so hopefully it is not coated in anything. I'll let you know how it goes.

MH, Did you notice when you ordered the FOTI from Botanicals.com that it comes in slices/chunks? You will need to pulverize it into powder to take it. Have you done that before? I'm less concerned about the effects of FOTI (which I have known of for some time) than the practical details of how to take it. Thank you for the link, by the way. I've been wanting to order Foti for a while b

I just read that you received a second blender (great!). I would just let sleeping dogs lie and tell vendors to make sure the shipped has YOU sign for it in the future. And think of moving when you can.

Hi,MH, Thanks! One question, botanicals.com sells it in slices. So does that mean you blend it into a powder and take 1/4-1/2 t per day? I'm interested in Fo-Ti because of the promise of more vitality and restoring the hair color.

rosemary, I agree with mamadeb that you should contact the police. Also, the shipping company was wrong to have left the blender with someone else. However, your contract was with the blender company and you need to contact them. Let them know you never received the blender and ask them to send you another with clear instructions that you alone must sign for it. They will see that someone

I agree with Dream Earth, Vegan Goddess, and Bryan. The arrogance is off-putting, as are the overpriced goodies. I felt that way when I first came across her site a few years ago. The lady has a heavy case of the screaming "Me Me!s" — Look at me! Look at MEEEEE! I'm so great! Also, the emphasis on expensive 'superfoods' is just ridiculous. IMHO simple and fresh is best. There's way mo

When sick, don't eat. Drink a lot of water. With diarrhea you don't want to ge dehydrated, as islandgirl said, so keep the fluids coming in.
