If anyone needs to ponder this question they have bigger issues than the child eating the hot dog has. If you're from the JR / Fresh school of thought first you ring the Vegan Police and charge the boy with theft. Next you call his parents and shame him in front of everybody so he never does it again. If however you are a normal person without any mental health issues you just ignore it. It's

Probably didn't fulfill the two Basic Needs that the Master goes on about!! And / or Didn't eat enough fruit. Ate too much fruit. Didn't eat enough greens. Should have taken supplements. His supplements could have been tainted. Probably didn't eat organic food and it was all the chemicals and lack of nourishment in the raw food he was eating. Was not well to begin with. Was detoxing.

In light of the direction this board has taken ( or been taken ) perhaps it needs to be renamed to reflect it's present nature. Here are a couple of suggestions. Let me know what you think, or add your own. 1. The Dead and No Food Board. Everyone has been driven off this board by JR and his offsider ( but to a lesser degree ) so aside from a few old dinosaurs there is no one else here so

In the late 1970's I went to India in search of, nothing really, just for a holiday ( definitely didn't get any enlightenment by the nature of my posts ). In those days to travel to Asia and Africa you needed shots for all the different diseases prevalent in those countries - not to go there, but to get back into Australia. I didn't get any shots on the way out ( mustn't have thought of how I was

Now I understand the purpose of all these never ending posts repeated ad nauseum - they're for the benefit of future humanity. I have a better suggestion. From one Zen Master ( me ) to another ( you ) here's what you need to do. Make 4 complete copies of ALL your files. 1. leave one copy in the Smithsonian Institute. 2. put one copy in a time capsule and dig it somewhere on the planet th

JR, another trip down to the Crypt to rehash the old posts that have already been rehashed - the Zombies down there must be getting restless. Must be a lot of new visitors coming to this site for you to make the special effort to rehash all the old posts. Pointless putting them up again for the current crew - can count them on one hand. I do admire your patience and perseverance in using differen

Good to see JR has been back down in the Crypt reviving some of his old Zombie posts re Plato, Herod and those infamous Pelasgians - they were next door neighbours of the Flinstones. I suppose when we're getting hundreds of new visitors every week it's always good to head down to the Crypt and rehash something that has no relevance to modern life. It's always great to cherry pick things to suit

Most Prolific poster ( by lines and posts ) goes to...JR by a country mile. Can outpost, and more importantly, can '' outpaste '' anyone on this board. Most Succinct Poster award goes to... Fresh. Says what he has to say without rambling on endlessly ( but loves to link to videos ). Best Supporting Poster goes to ... Jennifer. Always there to make an appearance to help out. Best New Cons

You've got a long way to go to get down to JR's level. For a start, your post is only 2 small 3 line paragraphs which makes it readable - way too short. It needs to be about 150 paragraphs of endless drivel ( and dribble ) that goes on and on that no one could be bothered reading. You need to spend a lot of time cutting and pasting loads of nonsense. Also, what' s with the one size and one col

When the topic of dry fasting was raised it triggered an old old memory of mine from many many years ago and I thought I'd relate it. In 1973 I was living in Vancouver BC. I used to frequent the different health food shops and one day I met this nice lady in a health food shop on a street on the way to Stanley Park ( for people familiar with Vancouver ). I was 21 or so and she was probably in

Here's a couple of Bragg stories. Many years ago I read an article in people's magasine where Paul Bragg was asked ' when does sexual activity end? ' seeing as how he promoted himself as a life extension expert. According to the person who trawled through all his birth / military records et al, he was born in 1895 and died in 1976 so he passed away at 81. His reply was ' you'll have to ask som

According to Jack LaLanne in his numerous books, he recounted how he was a skinny, pimply weak kid who wore glasses when at 14 years of age his mum took him to a lecture by Paul Bragg in Oakland? Calif. There Bragg talked about the detrimental effects of junk food and processed food and the importance of exercise and from then on his life changed forever. His mother lived to 92 so genetics mus

How's this for one from left field! I had the book on 3 occasions and must have read it 100 times. Does this seem to ring a bell, Louise? I don't have the book, but it just sprang to mind.If you can lie about your age, create a daughter ( I suppose it's easier than having to write ' my daughter in law' every time ) why not create a fictional sister.

Tai, thanks for your time and effort. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. I've just about tried everything with my friend. She's not a close friend and I haven't seen her in over 25 years. If she hadn't been having any problems I may never have heard from her again, but when she reached out to me I tried my best. I asked her if she had seen any herbalists, but got no

I asked my friend if she has been to see a TCM who deals with colons and digestion. Also, she's been in hospital once for something or other. I didn't ask her, but once they start on you it's probably safest to keep out of it. Thanks again, and I'll keep you posted if there is any news in future.

Today I was in contact with my friend and she has a son and a daughter. I asked her, '' I know you don't like to ask, but maybe you could ask them for a loan of 6 - 8 thousand dollars for 3 or 4 weeks somewhere at a healing centre. " She replied that " if I asked them, they would give it to me straight away, but I know it's too late ''. Also, maybe in her situation the centres may n

Thanks Tai. She has a son and a daughter but I don't know if they would help her financially. Like you say, she would need to find a Chinese Herbalist who deals with these things and also understands natural health and healing and is aware of her history. Not everyone is as kind hearted as you - or as knowledgeable. Time is running out for her. I'm not her family and hadn't seen or heard fr

Or anyone here who has real world practical experience. Hi Tai. Seeing as you are very knowledgeable maybe you can offer a comment or two. I have a friend who lives here in Sydney Australia. She is in her late 50's, or thereabouts, smokes, drinks coffee and has abused her body badly for a long while. I lost touch with her for a long while but a couple of years ago she contacted me about

Prana, I think you missed the point of it. I didn't refer to the article as an argument about whether gorillas are mainly fruit eaters or not ( did you read the article ? ). I'm sure the people working at the Melbourne zoo aren't following this board or are involved in the fruit debate on the raw food boards on fruit versus etc.. Their only job is to look after the gorillas welfare. The art

Tai, Save your energy by not responding to Fresh - he's not interested in what anyone has to say other than himself. Don't waste your time on him, you can do more good with others who can use your real world knowledge and experience. He's one of the reasons this board has basically died. According to him,if you can't do the almost 100% pure fruit diet / raw diet then ' you're not doing it ri

Tai, as a relative ' newcomer ' to this board ( and without going back into the murky past ) you may want to read the boards policy where it says ' discussion forums to support others that eat a diet composed " primarily " of raw plant foods '. It doesn't say exclusively raw, so as an outstanding contributor to this board ( and a breath of fresh air ), you're not out of line with your

Paul Bragg was not a blood related to Patricia Bragg - he was her father in law. Patricia married Paul Bragg's son. He 'adopted' her, and it seemed like a better narrative to refer to her as his daughter. Patricia also had an organic farm in New South Wales Australia which she sold several years ago.

100% definitely not me. In fact, I was always getting attacked by others for questioning his 80/10/10 diet as the optimum diet, and it's medium to long term attrition rate and the fact it was based on his own body as opposed to empirical evidence.

Tai, have you seen Leah Branster's video of her experience fasting with Doug Graham in Costa Rica and how she almost lost her life, and his lack of duty of care for her - you need to watch her video. If her mother hadn't flown in from Australia and removed her from Dougs lack of care, she was almost on the point of dying. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, but before she left Dou

I'm 66 and was first introduced to ' healthier ' eating in 1972 ( 45 years ago ). I moved from British Columbia, Canada to tropical Cairns in North Queensland, Australia to try eating a 100% fruit diet a la Ehret, hoping that it would solve all my worldly problems, but it didn't quite work out, but I'm still hanging in. I now live in Sydney Australia. One of the good things about Australi

Tai, at one point Doug supplemented with B12 because he had symptoms of B12 deficiency, until things righted themselves. Relying on memory he blamed it on '' stress factors ''. I think he makes most of everything up as he goes along - as long as it works for him. I used to follow his board with interest. He used to tell people to deliberately keep eating to stretch their stomachs so they can
