I have both an angel and green star. I use both. I don't ever hear the gears hitting each other on the angel, so I doubt if there are shavings in the juice. Any scientific evidence? Once my gears hit each other on the green star. It turns out the plastic part on one gear will eventually break and has to be replaced when it gets old, like in 5-10 years. But when I heard the gears hitting, it

The two non-grain binders are flax and chia seed. But you need to know the ratio of fat to carbs for the bird food. Whenever I overeat flax crackers, I feel blah for hours. Adding too much flax or chia can ruin a recipe by making it too heavy. Some people say Chia seed is too expensive. I saw it for $2.50-$3 lb at the mexican market. I heard that chia seed is not sprayed, but I don't k

Kiwi wrote Anyone have any ideas what I can use for the "flour" and "binder" to get this project started? Tai: The reason wheat is used is because the gluten in it is very sticky, and it's easy to make noodles with it. I have sprouted wheat for two days and then run it through my twin gear with a blank on and it comes out as a very sticky dough. I have made manna bread

I bring up the green papaya salad, because green papaya is considered a health food. So papaya is a bit unusual in that you can eat it either ripe or unripe.

I never had to use any method. I try to keep them on a counter top, not touching anything with good air circulation . They bruise and are cut easily, which can lead to mold issues. Because they are prone to getting moldy, it is best not to put them inside anything or touch other fruit, based on my experience. The smaller the papaya, the more likely it was picked too early, so they tend ne

Yes, I do. My box turtles love it and I can buy it for them, when other produce is not available for them. LIke they will only eat tomatoes when they are juicy and not otherwise, same with strawberries. So, I will share papaya with them.

I was shocked by the link Suncloud gave about comfrey so I looked it up. From wiki: "In 2001, the United States Food and Drug Administration issued a ban of comfrey products marketed for internal use, and a warning label for those intended for external use.[21][22] In addition to restrictions on oral use, some experts recommend applying comfrey extracts no longer than 10 days in a r

Panchito wrote I was refering to the view somepeople hold about blue eyes better vs brown eyes being toxic. Tai: I think this is a misunderstanding of iridology. Think of liver spots on the skin. Maybe you couldn't see them on the darkest of skin, but even on dark skin, you can see darker spots. Dark skin is not unhealthy by itself, but liver spots reveal health problems. So, dark spots c

Panchito, I am not going to argue with you because many people consider iridology to be a quack science. But I will share with you some of the rationale. Bernard Jensen was a chiropractor who also promoted colon hydrotherapy. He had tough cases of people who were covered with psoriasis and skin disease and other diseases. So he took the before pictures of their eyes. After intense colon hydro

I usually buy boxes of 9 coconuts each. OUt of every box, you might find 1-2 bad ones. There's this one company called Best, and they can have boxes that contain all good ones, but still you will one cracked here and there. Pink water is definitely bad, it usually means there is a crack or the membrane was compromised. Don't drink that. Feed it to your plants. Light brown water that ta

Hi Dave, I studied iridology a little bit. You may have heard of a case of a woman with "brown" eyes that turned hazel. In some cases, toxicity can show up in the iris and darken a naturally light-colored eye. That woman likely had natural hazel eyes and were just darker from her lifestyle. Diet is not going to change your true eye color. Babies can be born very toxic, so that migh

To Suncloud, I talked to a well studied CHinese herbalist today, TIna Chen, and she said a study validated the following formula for IBS, listed below: Her company sells this formula as GI Harmony (Evergreen Herbs--you can ask your local herbalist to consider it, if you ever get to that point.). When I have time, I will post the study. SHe never heard of your sensitivity before, but thought

My parents have bought products over the years from Patrick Flanagan. He has past life memories of being Nikola Tesla. He supposedly remembers all of his inventions. What the public does know about him is that he is a genius, and worked for NASA or a similar group when he was a very young teen, after making a missile detector or something like that. Suncloud, I just want to share a few thoughts. I am not trying to sell Chinese medicine, but just offering another perspective to get you to broaden your thinking. There are so many different digestive tonics in Chinese medicine that whatever the problems is, one can take an herbal formula and it can help with digestion. Greens in general can have more of a "damp" and cold quality, a
