Hi Ali, Thank you very much.=) I'm not an active member on this board and I don't think I've helped you in any ways , but I'm sure you are experiencing a process of what we called "detoxification" and it must be really tough. So now I'm here to say "All The Best To You"! Honestly, I failed on this raw food diet 'cause I felt totally unmotivated to do anything, thus I

Milsu, No, "bi gu" is only a practice of Taoism, not much related to Asian cultures. During "bi gu", one eats a diet which is not much different from raw food diet, except that one will eat less (similar to fast) and for some reasons, one is encouraged to "swallow one's own salivas". From what I heard from a talk given by Dr. Chiu-Nan Lai, chinese have been ea

Hi Milsu, I think what you were saying has to do with something called energy field. I don't know much about it but in Chinese's Taoism it's called "qi". I had a feeling that Bryan minght know a lot about it. Actually, in Taoism, there's a saying like this: "Not to consume smoke and fire in the world", and it has a very close meaning to raw foodism. People who practise

Hi Frances, Wow, you're such a kind person. I'm sorry to know that you actually have to go through so many procudures before you could start making blood donation. I went for blood donation yesterday, and it took some 1.5 hours before I could sat down and be prepared for blood donation. Unfortunately the nurse said that my veins are too small and I wasn't allowed to donate my blood. She ev

Hi everyone, I was thinking that since all/most of you are eating high raw and some of you have been eating 100% raw for years, you guys' health must be fantastic! Have you all ever considered about going for blood donation? I think it would be a "waste" if you don't, but of course it's all personal choice! BTW, I hope you guys can try out the exercise which is done just by clappi

Hi smoothie, I think you can try to change your eating habit gradually, as David Z. Mason have said in many of his previous posts. Take one step at a time. I think it's the same when people find it difficult to quit eating meat at once. They can start off by eating vegan for one whole day every 2 to 3 days, and improve on as the time goes. It's just an example and I know it's easy for almost a

Hi Bryan, An article from this website, , says that 75% of muscle is water weight, which makes our need of protein for building muscle even smaller (to about less than 5 grams per day). Does it make sense to you? All the Best, Wong

Hi Jgunn, Actually I think that maybe people in the video wanted to walk around but there isn't much space, so they turned out to be moving their legs on the same spot. Hmm... the reason behind this has something to do with chinese traditional "Qi-gong", and clapping hands in this way is the safest and most effective way of doing it. :-) All the Best, Wong

Hi aquadecoco, My bad. =) The key is that it must be palm to palm and fingers to fingers, something like this: (Sorry it's in chinese, and in the video everyone moves their legs, which you don't have to. Just clap your hands will do). After doing it for several weeks (say 20 minutes per day), one will probably feel the sweat coming out from their palm and I must say it's not going to smell

Hi all, I found a way to speed up detoxification process, and it is very simple- just by clapping your hands! Well, it is advisable to clap as long as possible, if it doesn't disturb your neighbourhood. Hands might get painful, but is worth it. =) Just one thing to note, try not to clap when you're sitting, best time to clap when you're doing brisk walk. All the Best, Wong

What is it that you wanted the most? What is it that promises happiness to you? Well, you certainly don't have to reply if you were 100% contented and has no desires at all... For me, I'd like to grow taller by 2 inches. Then I'll be same height as Bryan and F1! All the Best, Wong

Hi Troy, There's a monk named Guang-Qin (广&#38054, who ate just raw fruits from age of 55 to 84. He used to live in Taiwan before he passed away at age of 95 in 1986. Since he was eating fruits for many years, he was also given another name as "fruitarian master". One of his pic: I'm very glad to see that you're learning Buddhism as well. Both you and Sharrhan

Learningtofly, Hi there. The longest 100% raw period I had was merely 34 days after I've been 50% raw for about 1.5 years. I don't have any problems with my gum after eating more raw, except that my gum used to bleed when I brush my teeth, but it had happened years before I started raw. I've not been raw for long, just 50% raw on and off for 2 years, mostly sweet fruits. So maybe it didn't

Gosia, My definition of fruitarian is one who eats only sweet fruits and doesn't eat veggies at all. I'm not using botanical definition of fruits because it can make bananas turn out to be herbs. BTW, Gosia, did you experience any of the symptoms mention? Actually, I was expecting more people who have tried fruitarian lifestyle to post under this topic. I really qppreciate you all's comment

First of all, I'd like to say that I'm sorry if I've got some of the information wrong. To all who concern about fruitarianism, problems we're dealing with are: (1) Teeth. Almost all people who tried fruitarian lifestyle faced this problem. Marksquire and Felix had/is having this problems. However, this doesn't happen to rawgosia, coconutcream, davidzanemason, The Fruiarian One and Bryan(
