It's not raw, but here's a soup they serve at a local raw food restaurant that they claim is raw and living. I don't know much about live miso myself. maybe you could make your own like this... Miso Sipp Raw & Living Our Signature Soup…A mild broth made with fresh coconut water, live Miso and freshly sliced coconut noodles

well, i have more energy when not eating nuts, so i don't know what your experience has been with nuts. the 80/10/10 diet directs us to fresh food, and nuts are not fresh, they are dried, unless you are picking them off the tree yourself. you might want to try smoothies to get carbs up..

dancer, you may want to consider positive affirmations, as hard as that may seem. "I am protein deficient and anemic" will tend to continue that particular diagnosis. "I am becoming healthier with each passing moment" might work... "i don't like fruit" there may be more involved than the above statement says... -do you not like just about anything righ

dafodil, i'm the person that tells you what you may not want to hear. what you are doing is no different than the young boy who wants to go to college to meet girls. that is not why the young boy should go to college. he should go to learn. meeting girls is another thing that may happen there, but is not the primary reason. like many people nowadays , you are concerned with weig

re: gosia > what kind of b12 test do you take? oh, i get it. you think that your current neurological state is a good way to "test" for b12 status. I will have to assume that you don't believe that irreversible damage can occur.. i'm really surprised that people here don't get tested.

Fermented soy products, such as miso and tempeh, shiitake (dried mushrooms) and algae such as spirulina and nori contain practically no vitamin B12. While these foods are often sold in health food stores as "excellent souces of B12" and are widely used by the macrobiotic community, they actually contain little, if any active B12 (cobalamin). Instead they contain analogs of B12 that are
