David, Thanks for the info. Kale is my favourite raw food period. You gotta try my favourite recipe that I make often. This is the site I got it from but can't find it now: Usually I go to youtube and type in Karen Knowler and find recipes that way. It's here: All her videos on youtube are here (the fried mushrooms is another divine one: I see after copy and pasting that th

sewraw, Tell me about it. I'm still trying to decide what to get since I haven't tried either or seen them in person blend fruit etc. Yeah I've watched the videos but I have no idea if I'll like a tamper or if I won't until I can try it myself. That is the tough part you just have to do your research, listen to everyone and then make a choice. I too am hearing a lot about the Vita Mix Pr

nannie11 and David, Where did you get your Waring X-Treme's and how much did it cost. I know from the posts that the VM container is $148.00 at Everything Kitchens.

karennd, Thanks, the Blendtec is the one I can afford right now as the Vitamix is more expensive. Also I've been reading about the Jack LaLanne Healthmaster 100 that is similar to the Vitamix and is only $150.00 but don't know anyone who owns one or even if it's good. So many people seem to love the Blendtec so that's a good sign. I appreciate your feedback.

Hi, I'm wanting to buy a Blendtec blender but was wondering the comparison between the Vitamix and did a search on Google and found this forum so here I am. I've been high raw 99-100% for four months now and am looking forward to being a part of this group.
