Simplicity. I don't waste so much time in regards to food. Easy diet-stick mostly to the same meals daily. Prep is very simple.I like not feeling controlled by food, especially with never-ending/satisfied cravings. Overall healthier mentally & physically. Never getting normal illnesses like colds & the flu, even when around sick people. I own much less kitchen stuff. It's led

It's not about the vendor, but the particular products. You want to make sure they're grown properly without contamination/radiation. Algaes in particular need to be grown indoors if they're from Asia. It's unlikely to find such low prices for good quality algae, especially nowadays, unless purchased in huge quantities. Even then, that's quite low. I buy it for myself & use to sell them regul

I make tomato Sauce all the time with & without sun-dried tomatoes. Tomatoes (blend or chop 1st) 1 Garlic clove Bell Pepper, chopped Green Beans, chopped Tsp Kelp powder or Dash Sea Salt Optional: Cilantro, Olive Oil Without sun-dried tomatoes, I just chop everything altogether in my mini chopper (I make salads too this way). You can add hemp or almond butter for a different var

While you're weaning off the meds, you can try this muscle relaxant to help deal with the pain. It's key to start out using it in 4-5 doses of 2 caps daily until you know it's working, then you can cut back. Once you've switched over, you can then address a real cure. For me, it was my thyroid & taking iodine resolved the inflammation. Turmeric is a recommended supplement for many as well.

I briefly went through a period where I was slightly underweight on raw because I was doing a lot of cleanses. So I paid a lot more attention to the calories I was consuming until I got back on track. Now I'm pretty good at making sure I get plenty of calories throughout the day. I eat a lot of high calorie fruits & use superfoods to help assure my intake is high enough. Fats have a lot of

I use to get bitten the most of anyone I was with. Now I rarely do & if I do, the effects usually disappear quickly. I use to attribute it to eating a lot of raw garlic, which does help. But now I rarely eat it.

You can add more avocado and/or use a sweetener. Dates are a good substitute for agave.

Chlorella powder is a great source of protein that many juice fasters/feasters use. And oils, as you've mentioned. It all really depends on your goals for the fast. Just do what you think is best for your health.

To me, used furniture & clothes are something to be more concerned with than a juicer. A juicer is not being drunk or eaten from so it's not like there's anything to worry about in that sense. As long as it seems like it's in pretty good condition, it's probably a great deal.

You live where they grow chlorella & spirulina. They're great for when you need an extra source of greens. Chlorella is especially handy because it tastes good & can easily be used for portable meals. You can just mix the powder with water for a soup or sprinkle on veggies.

I like Garden of Life's Vitamin Code line. I feel they have excellent quality supplements. Another good thing for joints is turmeric. The supplement is stronger than the food because it has higher amounts of curcuminoids.

You're funny! Usually if I follow the ripening recommendations for each fruit, which you can google, everything ripens fine. As long as your home is a relatively stable, somewhat cool temperature, they should ripen fine. For certain fruits, it's important to make sure they're soft everywhere.

I've been using probiotics for years and found them beneficial for candida & strengthening my immune system. Just make sure it's a good quality, non-dairy formula such as Garden Of Life Primal Defense Ultra. I likely will always take supplements for extra insurance regardless of how good my diet is.

The one I've been using for yrs is the Black & Decker EHC650 2-Speed Food Chopper. It chops, grinds & puree’s veggies, nuts, seeds, onions, garlic, lettuce greens, apples, makes banana ice cream, etc. It's easier than constantly relying on my Vitamix (which I love) & way easier than chopping with a knife (unless you have excellent knife skills).

Actually I forgot to mention Dr. Woods is an alternative to Bronner's. Vitacost, iherb & a few others offer discounts as well. I'll often get supplements & other products through them. Sent you a PM with extra discount codes.

White vinegar is my main household cleanser. I've used Dr. Bronner's for shower & hand soap, laundry, brushing teeth, dishwashing liquid, etc. Occasionally as shampoo too. It's not expensive if you buy it online rather that pay full retail. Plus diluting it with water since it's concentrated. I do the conditioner method for hair. There's plenty of websites that mention it. I prefer to u

If they're not organic as it seems like they're not, it's not even worth getting. You don't need to buy almonds that use any form of steam/heat. The farmers that do it correctly, don't clean them at all, but leave it up to the customer to do this. They're allowed to sell them up to 100 lb per customer per day this way.

I've spoken with the company, ProHealth & I am able to give discounts on their products if purchased in bulk-likely 6-12 bottles (or a combination of their products). So if anyone is finding their B-12 helpful & want a discount, just email me. So far I've been very impressed with them as a company.

Both bars listed don't use truly raw ingredients & Lara is not organic either. My fav is Two Mom's In The Raw. There's a couple other companies that have good ones too, as well as other portable snacks. It's important to make sure they're using truly raw, unpasteurized nuts, preferably ones that have been sprouted.

I'm not a big believer in the accuracy of the standard blood tests, other than to give a bit of an idea if something is heading into deficiency. I recently had a blood test for the first time since I became 100% raw vegan 7 yrs ago. It showed that I was on the high end for both B12 & protein. I haven't done any consistent supplementation in terms of what is considered the right form such as M

Use raw jalapenos. Experiment with the amount since they're strong. You can also try adding fresh onions, cilantro, cayenne, garlic, etc. Fresh, raw salsa should taste way better than the processed kind.

I agree regarding fresh dates. I never understood the raves about dates until I finally tried them fresh. They're so completely amazing. It's rare that stores have them truly raw, organic or fresh.

I'm not completely convinced we need to supplement with B-12, however I've decide that I likely will do so anyhow now that the B-12 Patch is available because you only need to use it once a wk & it barely takes up any room like supplements normally do. Also, supposedly this is the best form/source to use. I still will likely skip using it for periods of time. My main concern is I've always ha

It also depends on what the other 20% of your diet consists of and various health factors. Some are lucky enough to feel the positive effects immediately, but usually it takes longer esp when you're not 100%.
