I have an Omega 8004, which is similar to the 8006, and I just give all the parts a quick spray of hot water from the sink sprayer. Every week or two (or whenever I have space) I run everything through the dishwasher.

I use a lot of mangoes and cucumbers, which I can't get organic around here, so I just peel them with my vegetable peeler first.

I have an Omega 8004, and personally, I prefer the white to the chrome. (I also prefer the difference in price.)

Ok, thanks. So maybe I'll just do a mini-compost bin on the deck or something. I know nothing about it, but I can look it up. Or, I can just go back to putting the pulp in my smoothies.

I don't compost, but I was wondering if it would be helpful to my plants (indoor and outdoor) if I saved my pulp to mix in with the soil rather than throwing it away?

I run the pulp through my Omega 8004 again, but I've never used the back switch. I thought that was just to unjam it? I just scoop the pulp out of the bin and load it in again from the top.

Hi everyone. I'm a 50-year-old teacher from Indiana... doing about 60-70% raw right now. It's a big change, but it's coming along. My 80-year-old mother lives with me, and I'm trying to take her on this journey also since it will simplify meal preparation.
