Has anyone used a low rpm (<150) juicer as a grinder only to be used together with a press? I'm not sure if I should buy a champion (1725 rpms) or go with a greenstar, samson, etc.. My concern is that even though the lower rpm juicer will oxidize less it might take too long or not grind the produce well and back up with juice or get jammed. I owned a 100 rpm juicer before but never used it wi

I am selling the following bulk olives that I just bought but are a bit too spicy for my taste: Sicilian marinated (pitted): 10 quart size jars. $105 shipping included. Old world style italian (pitted): 9 pint size jars. $45 shipping included. Both of these olives are slow cured the old fashioned way without the use of lye or sugar to speed up the process. Em

I am having trouble finding a raw-vegan friendly gastroenterologist. I've only found one, Zarin Azar in California . I need to get a current diagnosis of my condition but am not willing to go through any drug "treatments." I put myself on a vegan diet in 2000 and raw vegan diet in 2002, and also gave up all medications/supplements. The last couple of years I've also put myself on a slig

Hello, I was hoping someone could refer me to a lawyer who practices a raw vegan diet or is open to the lifestyle, and who might give me some legal advice regarding the acne drug Accutane. I just read that it has recently been pulled off the market for its link in causing Irritable Bowel Syndrome (along with other dysfunctions). Unfortunately I took this “medicine” around 2001 and also got

What are the best sources (farms and online stores) to order raw and organic shelled nuts which haven't been devitalized in shelling process? Looking mainly for filberts, pecans, walnuts, almonds, macadamias. Are there souces for organic spices that don't have any anti-caking chemicals or preservatives? Looking for paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Thanks!

Does anyone know of where to find organic produce at bargain prices in austin,tx? Possibly from a backyard grower? I have been raw since july 2002 and am now juicing 56-84 lbs of produce a week. Because of such amounts,I have always bought conventional. Organic at supermarkets is too expensive and CSA boxes seem too small and pricy also. My priorities are any juiceable fruits + avocados, bananas
