First thing that comes to mind tis a hacker, or some kind of spyware type of program on your computer. Try running a full scan at PCPitStop.com. Another thought (think I had tis happen before), do you use a wireless keyboard ? Check the batteries. Worse case cenario: you'd have to reformat your computer, and start from scratch. Save any important files you won't be able to re-download to a

Hey y'll. I haven't really had much worth posting for a while... I quit my job. My feet were so swollen, sore, and covered in blisters that I couldn't even get my shoes on. I got my first tattoo last Friday night, paid for with my first (and only) check from Walgreens. I already have my second designed but, think I'll have to wait a few months to lose some weight and/or figure out where it

I ended up buying a $30 Hamilton Beach which has worked better than the 20+ year old Hamilton Beach. It has it's flaws but, it was still better. I haven't used it in a couple weeks, as I just started a new job, and just don' have time to do ANYTHING 'cept work and sleep. (10 hour shifts for eight days in a row before getting six days off kind of schedule...) As for chewing all my food, I can't

The people at the potluck liked the "ranch dressing", even though it didn't taste like ranch dressing. LOL It came out too grainy, and the one person (gormet raw chef or something) could pick out just about everything I put in it: lemon, EVOO, chives, etc. I didn't like it but, my taste buds are extremely picky it seems. = ( Thanks again for the hints and tips, Bikini. I was right, it doesn't taste like ranch dressing. One of the people at the potluck tonight tis a gormet raw chef or something, and she said it doesn't taste like ranch dressing. If anyone would know, she should, right ? lol She did like it though. She ended up taking the rest home. = ) She also took the rest of the carrots (I'd taken about 2 lbs worth), and someone else took the rest of the cele

Pre-potluck opinion of the "dressing": ~~ Too grainy. I guess the equipment I have just isn't good enough. ~~ Doesn't really taste like ranch dressing. Maybe that's just me. ~~ I picture myself coming home with the full tub of tis stuff. I doubt anyone will like it. ~~ Definitely not making tis again if the above happens. Tis a waste; one I can't afford right now.

Well, I was finally able to get all the ingredients for my carrot and celery with raw ranch dressing dip. Old Soul even gave me four lemons for free 'cause they were just lose, and sold out of the bags. So I saved a few dollars with that. = D I ended up just buying a 2 lb bag of carrots, and will just sit here and cut them and the celery up into 1 - 2-inch "sticks". And then I get to ma

I didn't see the jimaca or whatever at ONF when I was there earlier in the week trying to find the herbs. So I'm not sure what else to put with the ketchup now. lol Tis always one thing or another. Anyway, I'm going out today to sell some DVD's and buy the rest of the ingredients. Hopefully I'll get enough money from the DVD's to get the rest of the things I need, and enough gas to hold me over '

I've been reading a book call The Raw Food Detox Diet by Natalia Rose. Tis been a big help to me with getting to know the benefits of eating raw/living foods, recipes, and just where to get started in general. When I started eating raw food (five and half weeks ago), I just started buying and adding fresh fruits and veggies to what I ate every day and went from there. Eat what you know you'll

I've found that fruits are easiest for me to like and eat. I've tried making salads and eating leafy greens. It just doesn't work for me. So most of the things I've been eating are fruits, with a few carrots, celery, cucumbers, and a couple other veggies thrown in here and there.

I found a ranch dressing recipe in The Raw Food Detox Diet by Natalia Rose. (Pg 113) I'm clueless when it comes to making anything, and have never really used spices for anything I make before. I'm having a hard time finding "dried" chives, rosemary, and sage. I found "freeze-dried" chives, and "ground" or "rubbed" sage. Still haven't found rosemary (the on

I haven't discussed the way the finances will work with James yet. He's not good with numbers anyway, so it would probably just confuse and frustrate him more than he's already. That's another thing I thought of since my last post: joining a gym. I figured I would wait 'til I lose at least another 50-70 lbs before doing that, though. And I can pay for that with the money from my job. The o

On that long list of things I haven't been able to get 'cause we haven't had the money was my tattoo. Getting it will be one of the things that does make me happier. The first one will remind me who I am. If I can stand the pain from it, the second one will remind me what I am. Tis not even like the entire check will go to the one tattoo, either.
