Hello everyone, I was wondering if silicone sheets warm up if placed in the sunlight. I'm talking about the ones normally used for baking, like these: I think about buying one sheet for sun-dehydrating of foods. Thanks, Uri, Tel Aviv

Hello everyone! I seriously consider getting myself a heavy-duty (commercial) champion juicer, and was wondering if anyone has experience making nut-butters and ice-creams with it. can it make raw tahini (sesame butter) from dry sesame? how about macadamia butter? Also, I've been told it makes the best icecream of all juicers. Have you tried putting pieces of frozen: 1. melons? 2. b

Hello everyone I'm looking for an efficient method to make a large amount (5 or 10 liters) of almond-milk. At the moment I'm using a home-made cheesecloth, and squeezing it takes a lot of time. it takes me about 5 minutes to make 1 liter of milk. Any suggestions? Thanks, Uri

Hey there, I was wondering, are dates, sold in the markets, raw? Do they dry them in ovens, maybe? I know some types are natural, "as is", but I'm not always sure. How can I tell? Thanks! Uri, Tel Aviv

dear minou33, Do you ever fast? If you don't, then I don't agree with greenpower's statement (see quote): greenpower Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I don't think it is detox after 2 years, it is > more likely that you are doing something wrong > somewhere.

I'm currently eating (not drinking) 1-3 green smoothies (700ml each) every day. I live in a very soil-less city, so I buy most of my greens. at the moment, I'm using mostly parsley and romaine lettuce. Sometimes I add some wild edible leaves like lambsq', malva and purslane. Uri, Tel Aviv, Israel

John, Yogi, thanks for the quick response. John, How strong is the mini blender? I'm asking suspiciously because it looks weak to me, judging from how it looks on their website. W. Yogi, I already do what you suggested, but it only help a little.. I still need to add some minimum amount of liquid to make the blender work. And that minimum amount is a lot, usualy much more than I need.

Hello all, I'm so glad I found this discussion group! I'm having a little technical problem with my blender: When making smoothies (specialy green smoothies), in order for the whole thing to work, I must use a large amount, much more than I can (usualy) digest as one meal. I'm using Morphy Richards 48936 (500w, glass container). Is there any trick to make "tiny" smoothies?
