i find that i can't eat much cooked otherwise i feel awful, even though i wanted to start eating a little cooked quinoa, rice, or a potato, i found that i couldn't anymore.

does anyone eat papaya (paw-paw) seeds? I tried them a few times but thought they were pretty yuck...
i eat apple and pear seeds in smoothies, not orange seeds or melon, maybe i should!?

i guess it depends what your craving. if sweets, then fruit and dried fruit will take care of that. if salty, then olives, or a good salt on a salad etc. if fats, then nuts/seeds. if stodgy carbs then soaked buckwheat is what i turn to...

i made some zuccini noodles today, and most days, very yummy, but I don't use my spiral slicer for anything else.
A mandolin does exactly the same thing, except shorter noodles, and more dangerous, although I used to use a padded oven mit when slicing...!
So what is your fav sauce for the noodles?
mine is:
1 carrot
1 celery stick
1 tomato
2 cloves garlic
parsley
dried mixed herbs

if you leave it in the blender for a minute or 2 it gets warm. my new powerful blender does this. in some ways i miss my domestic blender!

well, the large coffee grinder didn't need one drop of water to grind up veg and seeds into wonderful pates etc. i made fabulous 'ice creams' in it too. the blender needs some water to make it whirl. it will grind nuts and seeds though.
