I know I can eat a medium sized bulb of roasted garlic at once...been there...done that. Can't say how much it weighed though. No ill effects except for the breath issue.

I'll add that I have given up most dairy. I still eat a small amount of cheese on occasion but that is it. Cheese is a hard one for me.

I think so. I have given up meat since June 1st of this year and I feel much better about it. I am not 100% raw...maybe about 70% or a little less these days but 100% vegetarian and I have lost 30 pounds and just feel better in general.

I think I would die without onions or garlic. I used to work at a cultural arts camp as a cool and there was a big hand painted sign hanging over one of the doorways to the dining hall that said "Garlic is the ketchup of intellects".

Love 60's rock, Dave Matthews, big Deadhead here as well. I also like some Tool/Perfect Circle, Clutch, Govn't Mule...I don't know...I have a pretty large list of music I enjoy. I can do pretty much anything except rap or country. I'd rather jam red hot pokers in my eyes then to listen to that crap.

I am back in school too. Started my fourth semester last week. I am 34 years old so it was quite a shock to the system going back after being out of school for 15 years. Well a little less...I finished high school in 1994 and went to culinary school in 1997...but it has still been a long time. So far everything is going well...I have about 2 years left. I am studying respiratory therapy.

I wouldn't disagree...as long as the protein was quality and easy to digest...that is the important thing.

There are many schools of thought on the subject...I come from a SAD power lifting background and when i was lifting protein after workout was paramount. Key is it needs to be easily digested and mixed with a simple carb to increase the absorption. Example...and this is not vegan or raw but just an example of what I used to do...mix 50 grams whey protein with 100 grams of maltodextrin in water an

You can make raw almond milk if you get raw almonds. But be careful because if you want to be super strict you have to know that most almonds marked raw are not really because they are usually pasteurized by heat or chemical so you need to really check for true rawness. But if you are not super worried about it and many aren't, then as long as they are not roasted you can still make "raw&quo
