I'm making it to drink and I am also going to use some of the rejuvelac to make some nut cheese. I have probiotic pills, and really I want to make the nut cheese is why I made the rejuvelac. I dont really care about drinking it. Yeah I hear about this about rejuvelac before. The recipe for cheese is 1 cup cashew, 1 cup almonds, 1 cup pine nuts, 1 tbs rejuvelac. So if I were to use probiotic pills

I been struggling with this too. I believe its cause I am not getting enough or the same calories my body is used to, plus I feel I am getting less protein. From what I understand, you CAN overeat on fruits/veggies. Don't worry about it, they digest quickly too.

I'm new too. What has helped me is drinking green smoothies every day. Salads are easy to make too and so I make those often. Buying nuts, seeds and grains raw, you can store those for months or even years. So if you stock up on a few things don't worry about it spoiling. The only thing you have to do is buy fresh fruit and veggies like every 3-4 days. Start small, and then see how fast or slow y

Hi, Can you warm your raw soup in a microwave or stove without killing the enzymes? Is lukewarm about right or could you go a little warmer?

It sounds like you are eating the old coconuts. Try young coconuts, way more nutritious and the meat comes off very easy. Plus it has alot more water/milk in it too.

If you can sprout them would that mean they are raw? I had some almonds that were claimed raw on the package. I bought them from Ralphs of all places and they sprouted.

Hi, Could anyone recommend me a good dehydrator? The thing is I don't have much money so something in the $80 to $120 range would be ok. What do you think are the bets dehydrators? Why are they better than others etc? I saw a dehydrator at walmart for like $40 but I didn't trust it. I know for $40 its cheap quality. Thanks, any help appreciated.

Hi, Do you guys freeze your veggies and fruits? I freeze grapes, mango, banana, berries etc. But that's all I freeze. I was wondering can veggies be frozen and used later for smoothies or juicing and not be affected in any way? I image they would be more watery. But other than that I wouldn't know anything else. Could you list the fruits and veggies you freeze? I just hate when things go to

I tried the chickpea soup. It was alright, tasted a little too watery, so I added a little more miso and even more alfalfa sprouts to make it a little more chunky. I'm going to try the banana ice cream tomorrow, then the spaghetti next day.

Like today I used kale, celery, wheatgrass, and then added an apple, little handful of grapes and strawberries. Added about 1 tablespoon of flax oil, about a cup of water and blended the whole thing. Tomorrow I will try different stuff and see what I like best.

I was looking at sproutpeople.com and see some sprouters. Im wondering if the "easy sprouter" is worth it compared to just a regular jar. Because I want to sprout alot of things, not just beans or nuts. I wanna do grains, even grains that are small like quinoa. And I am not sure if you can do those in jars. I been using bowls to sprout things. I got sunflower seeds and chickpeas to s

Nice, I will try those. I'm going to try and have a green smoothie every morning. I drink water with lemon first. Then I wait about 20 mins before I eat anything.

I am finding juicing and making smoothies very helpful in getting started. I am new to this raw food diet and its helping me maintain. I been eating lots of salads too. Also I looked up a few recipes like some soups and entrees and did a few already. It may be a good idea to buy a recipe book, although online you can get recipes for free. Ive already tried sprouting some seeds and was successful
