We use these: I wouldn't recommend buying plastic - not good for the environment anyways.

So where can I purchase almonds that can guarantee they have not been pasteurized? Anyone know? What about other nuts? Are they all going to be pasteurized? THis is so crazy. I am so tired of the government screwing with our all natural, raw foods.

Anything that gets you moving and keeps you interested is a good workout. I am a firm believer in strength training, even if it is just twice a week. Muscle burns so many calories, all day long, so the more muscle you have, the more calories you will burn. Cardio can only do so much. And if you are a female, don't worry about strength training "making you bulky" - that is just about

greengrl - I agree with you. Although my baby never had any rolls like that (she was breastfed until she was over two years old) I have a sister-in-law with 5 kids, and has only given them breastmilk, and all of her kids were completely chubby and full of rolls. And now they are just as healthy as can be, so I don't agree with what that website is saying either about chubby babies being unhealt

It's not a cold sore. I went to the dentist yesterday and it is an allergic reaction to somehting. No idea what, but it is a little better today. I knew it wasn't a cold sore...looks nothing like one. My lips are still puffy but they feel much better. Thanks for the replies, everyone.

Yet another good reason why I can't wait to get moved into the 20 acre farm we just bought and begin growing all of our own food. We move in a 2 weeks!

Nope - definitely not a cold sore. Never had one. My lips are covered with tiny red bumps - they are super small. And my lips burn. I wonder if this is an allergic reaction to something?

My lips are extremely sore - I thought they were just chapped, but now they are swollen and they have tiny red bumps ALL over them. Is this a sign of candida? I don't seem to have any of the other symptoms. Help!

We love kefir. The taste all depends on what you use to make it. The grains make the liquid somewhat "fizzy" and a bit sour, sort of like plain, unsweetened yogurt or something. Let me know if you want some of our grain when it's back to normal and I can send you some.

taylor, kefir should not be expensive. Please do not buy the "starter kits" that you see online. You need a true kefir grain. My husband and I drink kefir. What state do you live in? I could ship you some of our grain. We just took it out of "hibernation" so we need to get it all back to normal before sharing some of it. I do not recommend making a nut drink and lett

coconutchronicles, I made this dinner for my husband and I on Saturday night. All of it except for the cheesecake. It was fabulous. My daughter loved the wakame tomato salad, but the other dish was too spicy for her. It was a very rich dish...not something that I could eat all the time, but it was SO good. We loved it. Thanks for sharing this amazing recipe!

I have been plugging my foods into Nutritiondata.com, and I seem to always be lacking B12, D and Zinc. Anyone know of good sources for these vitamins so that I can get them in my diet? I know that sunlight can give me vitamin D, but how much is recommended? There's not too much sun where I live right now! Thanks a bunch. arugula - I think that you supplement with Zinc and B12 - which

Interesting about menstruation....I used to have serious issues with getting my period once every 2 weeks. Just recently, I quit menstruating completely. I have my yearly exam appointment on Monday, so I plan on asking my midwife about it. I would know if I was pregnant, so that's not it. I wonder if it is because of my raw diet?? Hmm.....

I usually practice first thing in the morning, but sometimes I sneak in an evening practice as well. I find that I am more flexible in the evenings (which I am sure is true for most people), and I like to go to the studio for an evening class every once in a while. I also meditate in the mornings, before everyone else wakes up!

I breastfed my daughter for over 2 years. I am "small chested", and never in a million years would I consider plastic surgery. Doesn't bother me if others do it, nor do I judge people that do have plastic surgery, it's just not something I would ever choose to do. Anyways, my breasts may not be quite as perky as they were before pregnancy/breastfeeding, but I wouldn't trade it for an
