@Brome. Tks for your info. So I guess the thing to do is just break off the young growth and wolf it down.

I know that people take turkey tail in capsule form, but you are consuming it more directly and for free too. There's tons of old large hard turkey tail in a forest near here, and I just break some of them off and either place them in the garden or use them as decorations in my house. If I can find some young ones, I may do what you are.

So anyone that says you can get away with bad habits is wrong. Just because some people won't die from the bad habit doesn't mean they won't suffer on some level from it. Bingo. Also, it is not always easy to draw a straight line between a bad habit and what you die from. Unless you suffered a bullet wound to the head, it can be a complicated matter to figure out "why" someone fina

I don't think you get "high" from coffee enemas. I tried this procedure a few times (maybe 20 times) over a couple of years and there is just usually a nice calm feeling, though it isn't always there every time. If the enema is done correctly (not the same as a regular enema) the coffee doesn't get into your digestive system and doesn't make you speedy or "euphoric". The

I've never even tried it but would like to. What would anyone consider wrong with it? About the sugar. It seems like everyone and his dog thinks that only just a bit of sugar even in the context of a healthful diet is going to do them in. Maybe that is true for hard-to-control forms of diabetes, but the rest of us don't need to eat as if we are diabetics when we are not. Or not even close to i

QuoteRawPracticalist Why do people allow themselves to be exploited? Maybe the problem is more with the exploited than the exploiter Bingo! They need each other. Each seeks the other out, knowingly or not.

Is this complicated? Some diabetics do well on Diet A. Other diabetics do well on Diet B. Still others do well on Diet C. And so on and so forth.

@John R. "Herd immunity" (I have not watched your video yet, mind you) is a panicked response to people questioning vaccinations and acting on it. These hopelessly crazy mfrs and promoters of poisoning a child with 50 doses of whatever - even before they enter first grade - pulled it out of thin air. If there is anything stupider than "herd immunity" I don't know what it is

@Avocadess. What an excellent comment. Thank you so much. I can't do 100% raw, either. But in spring and summer, that's the way to go, especially for those of us who garden. And if you have children, it is too difficult to make separate meals for everyone, so you just end up eating (at least to some degree) what the other members of the household are. And they - right or wrong - want mostly

Paradise will be ours when me move on to another realm. I'm not even so sure about that. Mind you, I knew a woman who tended to a sick woman who temporarily "died". When they revived her, she was so saddened to be back here; she said it was so lovely in that other realm.

I am really happy to hear that Norman was not sick when he died. He just knew it was his time. Perfectissimo. I love his book on juices and his sense of humor to be found there.

of course they represent averages. and i quoted it to show that the claim that norman walker didn't live particularly long is false as he lived TWICE as long as the average. just as those born 70 years ago who live to 70 are Average. the average has risen. The issue is: Why has the average risen? The average has risen because so very many people are being kept artificially alive. Children

someone born in 1886 had a average life expectancy of 50 years from what I can determine from charts. Life expectancy figures are fraudulent; they mean very little. They represent averages. Back in the "olden days" plenty of children died of infectious diseases (Nature's way to keeping the tribe healthy), so that reduces the supposed "life expectancy" figure. In reality

Nuts are higher in antinutrients (I think) than any other food that vegetarians like to eat. So, that is why cashews are better eaten that way (fermented), and make a nice cream "cheese"-like spread, though you have to add some lemon jce and salt to make it tastier. I guess maybe I read that here, though I am not sure.

This paradise on earth is dependent on political/economic systems whose leaders do not see the seeking of such paradise as enemy action. Dirty and crude though it may seem (to some folks) it is a reality that we must not take what few freedoms we have for granted. And that means fighting - yes, fighting for them one way or another. Jesus Christ was all for peace 'n' loving everyone no-matter

They are juiceable, too. Norman Walker mentions this in his book on fresh vegetable juices. I'd add a wee bit of lemon juice to cut the sweetness a bit.

Unless a person is a diabetic there is no need for this fixation on lowering blood sugar. There's plenty of borderline and outright hypoglycemics out there who need to bring their blood sugar up and keep it there and I don't mean diabetics who've taken too much insulin. I mean folks at the opposite end of the spectrum.

Clean your Other Bathroom - your Lymph System Norman Walker says that celery (juice) is important for the maintenance of the fluidity of the blood and lymph in preventing their becoming too thick. Celery juice every day (with carrot, probably) would be a good place to start for those who can't go 100% raw or take a vacation from solid food. As you clean out, it is easier to do these 2 thin

numerous raw vegans who dabble in raw dairy, raw cheese and eggs, and who deal with infections I'm not arguing in favor of eating dairy or other animal products, just saying that any raw cheese you buy at the store does indeed come from unpasteurized milk aged for a minimum of 60 days in salt. So infections, etc. would not be an issue. However, there's people going out of their way to get

I am personally responsible for 75,000 abortions. It is slimy of him to say this. Just do the math and you will see that no one could be "personally" responsible. It should be "indirectly" responsible. Just saying. I read Nathanson's book a long time ago. It was called The Hand of God but maybe there's a 2nd edition with a new title. He is a strange fellow with contr

Told by an Irishman- Some say the British Empire is so vast, The Sun never sets on her. But the real reason is God does not trust her in the dark. LOL but oh so true. However, no British empire = no comfy North Amerikan life for us! This is the way of the world. There are no innocent tribes, anywhere. While I am not interested in Hitler, I found it odd that the fellow in the first video Hitler Wanted You to Go Vegan (LOL) refers to his "empire". He must be joking or he doesn't know what an empire is. Amerika (Washington) is an empire, with its 500+ bases around the world and occupying several countries in every sense of the word. Roman/Byzantine, Ottoman, British, etc. - these we

However, raw beet root juice is famous for burning your throat so I wonder what would cause that effect, ie, something other than oxalates? Anyone know? I love raw crushed beets with lemon juice an

I guess as somebody wrote nutrients do not matter as much but assimilation does. Exactly correct. And some folks have inherently excellent digestion right from birth but others don't. That's the way it rolls.
