i bought a cheap dehydrator from meijer and it seems to work fine for me. It doesnt have a temp setting which i dont like, but hey it didnt cost me 400 dollars either! its by ronco if you were wondering.

hey taylor. my bread turned out okay taste wise. I tend to let things dehydrate for too long :/ so it was very crispy. i used soft wheat berries so i think ill try the kind you used next time. thanks for the info on your bread, it will help me next time. oh and to answer your questions i have a dehydrator, but no teflex sheets. i think you can buy them for a discount through this site for bein

I want to share this small experiance. until yesterday i had eaten 100% raw for 2 weeks. Today I am experiancing gas, bloating, and low energy. well i made some sunflower burgers(came out too hard cause i didnt take them out in time.. still tasty though), and some yam chips with honey and cin. I have also been drying some mushrooms and tomatos cause i have an abundance right now hehe. that is all ive dried so far, but i plan on making the french bread in the recipe section today.

I got a really inexpensive dehydrator by Ronco (5-tray) and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this model. It has no settings for a temperature so figure it's one temp all the time but i have no clue how to find out the temp. I read the booklets and called their number but got no answer from either. also, this dehydrator is cylindrical and i was wondering what kind of substitute for

yes, i read through the forum and saw that you posted it and I cound not find it either.. that's why i asked... but the soaking idea helps a lot anyway. I find it so amazing that after you read so many recipes you can eventually find logical foods that will help make substitutions for things you once ate. It's awesome.

anyone know a good recipe for some good indian dish that would include fresh raw chickpeas, maybe some coconut??? also, has anyone ever eaten a prickly pear and if so how did you eat it, it has seeds all throughout it like a pomagrant sort of. I think i'd just juice it, but if anyone has any ideas of what i could make with it please share. thanks all

celery root is really good. its sometimes called celerac root (i think thats spelled wrong though) it took me a little to find one, but i found them at mejier.
