Thanks again folks, A wee speck of humor aid the digestion when all you eat is fibrous vege-matter. I'm having a good time in my first week of raw-experimentation, rolling up vegetables inside of other vegetables, slathered wit

I'm sorry I didn't explain seasonal eating very clearly. By seasonal eating I mean eating what plants grow naturally (not under artificial light, etc.) during the time of year that they grow naturally. Any ideas, suggestions?

Hee-haw! That's my kinda eatin' veronique! I was starting to think that all the raw foodists out there are just yuppie juice-heads. After aren't we just trying to simplify things here and get back to a natural way of eating?

In order to make the nettle sun tea you just use the leaves as you would any other plant for tea, put them in a glass jar with water and whatever else you like for flavor, let it sit the sun (or moon for lunar tea) all day (or night) and strain out the plant matter after the water has changed color (and looks like tea). Enjoy warm right out of the sun, or chilled.

Does anyone here attempt to eat seasonally and successfully do it raw? I am just wondering if it is truly possible at a northern latitude such as 35 degrees to 45 degrees North where there are no fruit or vegetables growing during the winter months. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the advice/ help. By the way, does anybody have any good suggestions for books or other resources on beginning and maintaining a raw diet? I was looking at Butenko's, 12 Steps to Raw Food. Has anybody read that one? Thanks again.

I guess when I originally posted I was just a little frustrated. I am new to raw food as a diet ambition. I have been vegan for nearly a year-and-a-half now though, and I usually love raw fruits and veggies. My more exact question then would be more along the lines of, Why is so much raw food blended, processed, and dehydrated, etc.? Aren't there other ways of carrying out a primarily raw food di

Can anyone answer my question? Why is every raw food recipe on this site blended!? Isn't there any raw food that doesn't require blending, juicing, grinding, etc.? Does anyone have a good link to a site with real raw food? (I'm not being negative about raw food. I just want some real raw food. I absolutely agree with the use of raw enzymes and nutrition but all this blending just leads up
