Oh, beautiful Split! I vacationed on Hvar every year as a child, so we would spend some time in Split too. My favorite blender is Vitamix. Don't know where you get it in Croatia, but I am sure there is a way to get it. They are pricy but worth every penny. Talk to you later. Ciao!

My two dear friends were diagnosed with breast cancer, and both of them picked the "chemo road". I was devastated, and suggested to them the option of natural healing. They both declined I love my friends and will support them no matter what, but it is soooo hard to watch what they are going through knowing that it was a better way... Victoria/Helen, thank you so much for this post.

Hey Marija, I am originally from Belgrade, and many, many years ago I spent every summer in Croatia, mostly Rovinj! I live in Miami now, but have to plan a trip and visit that beautiful place again. I also have very fond memories of Primosten and Hvar. What part of Croatia are you from? Also, if you need anything translated I will be happy to do that for you, as our native languages are

benetgirl, I am not an expert, but it sounds that you overscrub with different products, and make the problem even worse. You have to calm down, meditate and send positive thoughts to your body. Ask yourself why do you have to drink wine (or eat certain food) if you know for sure that will trigger the breakouts. Yoga can be very positive approach, and may help you set yourself on a path of hea

My dream juicer is a reality now! Not that long ago, I purchased a Breville Juice Fountain Elite. OMG I LOOOOOVE that juicer. Love my Vitamix as well. I would recommend these to your wealthy client (about $300 for juicer, $500 for Vitamix). What I dream about: a place where I can go and pick fresh, organic veggies and fruits, and use them immediately. Gardening is not my thing, so a skillful g

Here is my experience. My husband's family is 120% SAD (meaning diet, and we go out occasionally with them. They think I am totally weird as far as eating goes (I am not even 100% raw)... I ALWAYS customize my meals at the restaurant, and just don't care that some of the family members roll their eyes. They think their way is the only way... When I have them over at my house, I prepare "thin

My dentist is a raw foodist, and she recommends water pick. OMG, what a difference! I floss after EVERY meal (more important than brushing), and water pick before going to bed. Even thou I took a great care of my teeth since I was a kid (it's an obsession of mine, I see and feel the difference since I added WP. As far as brushing goes, I think the best combo is some salt with baking soda, or baki

With no exercise you are not going to achieve desired weight loss. Cleanses, fasts, etc., are great, but you have to start MOVING YOUR BODY, start SWEATING. Please, stop blaming the bad knees and back (but of course they are bad; they are carrying extra weight!). At the beginning you have to stick with exercises that are easy on parts of your body that are weak. If you do not know where to start,

GREAT TOPIC! Well, alcohol was my struggle for a long time. I was not a "drunk", or had an uncontrollable urge for alcohol, but it was a daily glass or two of wine, or a martini. The first few sips would feel really good, but most of the time I would end up with a headache (even that HEALTHY, one glass of wine would cause it!). When my emotional attachment to alcohol stopped (thanks

I do not think anyone mentioned IODINE as an important ingredient of salt (if salt is iodized, of course). That will be the biggest reason FOR adding small amounts of salt to your food. People who eat enough sea vegetables should get enough of iodine, and will not be needing iodized salt. Also, young walnuts are a wonderful source of iodine, but I would not know any other way of ingesting it, but

Frutarian does not work for me, as my body cannot process sugar properly (if ingested in excess). Also, I feel more energetic on some fruits, and high greens. Do not ignore what your body is trying to tell you. Daily calorie amount definitely depends on many factors (gender, age, daily activity,..) I never count calories. Some days I feel like eating more than other days, so I follow that inne

I do not find anything wrong with TV watching. It can be very damaging if it's done in excess (like most of everything), but occasionally, why not? I do not like sitting in front of TV for hours, but really enjoy some of the shows. My personal favorite: "Little People, Big World" on TLC. I learned so much about dwarfs, about their challenges in this world, etc... If I did not see the sh

Fantastic! Thank you Bryan. If I read this post several years ago, I would not get it. I may say that I am discovering and working on "all of the above" for some time now, and I know that it will be a never ending process. How exciting! Some people are crazy about it, but my system does not like it. If I drink Green Tea, my tummy gets so much acid, more than if I had a cup of coffee! So, Green Tea, not for me (I am not 100% raw)...

I just read that REJUVELAC is one of the answers for reversing graying hair to its natural color (there are many, many other benefits, of course). REJUVELAC - fermented, sprouted grain drink - totally RAW! I am making a first batch as we speak.

Bunk... in my opinion. Tried it, and my gut feeling was not positive towards it. Did not work on some people I know, either. Paleo Diet not acceptable here. Also, listen to your body, try not to over-think. Listen to your inner voice. I know, it takes time to be able to hear it... It's a never ending process. I am just so grateful for this forum and people here! Good luck!

My experience: Due to menopause (and few years before it happened), my hair was falling out like crazy. Hormones, of course My personal choice was to skip HRT (horrible, horrible thing, in my opinion). I am not a big fan of supplements, either, but a friend of mine recommended something that WORKED: 1) Maxi Hair Supplements; 2) Drinking a cup of Nettle Leaf Tea every morning; 3) Massaging scalp

Hi to everyone, I have been viewing the forum for years, but this is my first time posting. Love to read you guys; you give me an inspiration to move to healthier and more conscious way of living (not bad now, but can always be better). I got very intrigued by the URINE THERAPY. Wondering if anyone here had any kind of experience with it. Stay well. RUBY
