I grew up and lived in Chicago and its suburbs and LEFT IT 8 months ago for LOS ANGELES... it is just too hard to be healthy, active, and eat well there. The winters are way too long and slow you down; everyone is into beer and hamburgers. At its best, it's just not very good. LA IS GREAT! I feel my life improving. Plus... SUNLIGHT! 100+ more days of sunlight in LA than Chicago. California rules.

I had been making green smoothies and hummus in a crappy food processor and started dreaming of about owning a Blendtec. I did some research and at that instant they happened to be running a contest. I dreamed about winning the contest... and I DID, and now I own a Blendtec and love it so far! But I'm overwhelmed, there are so many possibilites now, I don't know where to start!!
