I'm having an issue. I'm just not eating very much. I'm eating about the same amount as I was, but with raw I always thought you needed to eat more to make sure you have enough calories. Also, all I seem to want to eat are fruits. I understand that fruitarian is another way to eat...but it's not for me. I'll eat my nuts, sure. But when it comes to veggies I'm just completely turned off.

I love these. Especially as a quick snack. They're filling and oh so good! I don't know much about it hypoglycemia and raw but I do know that people who have hypoglycemia and even diabetes can eat raw and be very healthy (even to the point of having no more blood sugar issues at all!). I love eating this granola as a snack or as a heavy breakfast (I personally prefer breakfasts to be light and mostly fruit). I almost always will add fresh berries to it when I eat it. Either chopped up strawberries or blackberries. I think it would be good with blueberries or rasberries too. You can also add dried fruits to the recipe. Ones that are tart may be best. I'm having an awesome smoothie this morning. It has 3 bananas, some strawberries, and 2 medjol dates...plus ice. It's so yummy and a great way to start the day. Thanks Chat. I did that the other day. I didn't write it down but I was listing off to a friend all the reasons I want to be raw. There are quite a few. It felt good to do and is why I decided I was going raw again. I'm going to do a lot of uncooking tomorrow. I am going to go soak my nuts and seeds in a bit so they're ready for tomorrow. Dates are really good for energy. And coconut water is great for replacing electrolytes. Especially from fresh young coconuts. Fruit is great too! There's a raw triathelte on facebook whose posts I read constantly. There are tons of raw athletes who do everything from running to body building.
