Two years ago, my sweetie and I decided to have a baby. In preparing our bodies for conception, we wanted to be in optimum health. I got it in my head one day that we should eat only raw foods. Now, I know this is going to sound strange, but I really thought this was my own idea. It came to me one day. I never heard of it before. I immediately went to Barnes & Nobles thinking I might find a r

Can someone please guide me to a good sprouting guide. For instance, I had a book by Dr. Gabriel Cousens which had an excellent chart in it regarding length of time to soak and sprout many different nuts, seeds, and grains. I no longer have that book and would appreciate some help here. Thanks a bunch, Shawna

now I'M confuzed! I've always, especially lately, heard that bananas are "perfect foods" and literally "the next best thing to mother's milk"! I NEVER heard that they are "unnatural and unhealthy". To me, that is not "just common sense". Could someone (sodoffsocks) please explain this, or point me to some info on this topic? I really need/want to know....

Hi there AM, When I make my morning green smoothie, I'll sometimes spoon a little into his fruit and he loves it. He'll also just eat it right off the spoon. There is spiruline and chlorella in it, so I limit the amount because they are powerful detoxifiers, and being a baby, he definitely doesn't need to detox. My guy has had cinnamon and raw ginger. I never heard anything about not giving it.

Hejsan och tack for svaret! I am in the United States. I appreciate your note. My baby is almost 10 months. He is still breastfeeding and eating lots of different fruits and vegetables, including nuts (walnuts, cashews, almonds only). I also have been giving him some sprouted grain breads and sometimes organic crunchy cereal or crackers to satisfy him while I am preparing his meal. I trust he is

Hi, I posted yesterday about my raw baby. I am posting again, as I think my post will get lost in the shuffle. I am really interested in hearing from folks who have experience with raising raw children, specifically babies. I have yet to find any resources that refer to infants. There is info about toddlers and above, but not babies. It would be great to share ideas with other parents that are do

Hello, I am wondering if anyone out there has experience with raising a raw baby. My son is 9 1/2 months old. He has always been vegetarian and dairy-free. Recently, we became raw. It's going pretty well, but I would really love to connect with others that are having or have had this experience. I have not found any helpful resources to guide me, except my intuition! I am happy that I recently re
