I do have Spirulina. I did get a bit freaked out when I read that I should not be taking it. I believe that I was on David Klein's website at the time. Things can get so stinkin confusing! But, I march on and forward! Thanks LF!

Hi All, Maybe this is a dumb question, but I am wondering if I should add only organic waste to my compost pile? I am assuming, but don't know for sure, that I should not add any non organic veggie scraps, etc. Anyone know? Thanks!

LF, Thank you so much! Ok, so here's the thing: Firstly, I just flat out don't like the taste of sprouts. I soooo wish that I did. Therefore, should I just try to mix them into a fruit smoothie or sweeter juice maybe so that they are palatable? Secondly, if I were to choose to cook them, how would I do that properly? Would I soak them for anymore than the typical 24 hrs? Do you kn

I am so frustrated with things right now. Annoyed as well. I am struggling alot to eat enough calories apparently. Whenever I get hungry, it's like a panic mode every time. As soon as hunger strikes me, it's as if I am ravenous. I can do nothing at that moment other than find food immediately. Don't like it as I get weak and shaky and as I said paniced. So, yesterday my husband and I di

I highly highly recommend juicing daily if you are able. Tons of nutrients. Not sure how much you can afford, but you can get a Champion (Will last forever. The motor is a beast!). You can get the Household model for $240 and the Commercial one for $270 (personally, I'd get the Commercial one). You can get an Omega 4000 for $169 on discountjuicers.com I believe. I think that includes shipping

I like Bragg's ok, but don't love it. I will miss the soy sauce taste. It definitely gives that "Asian" taste that I love so much. Will just have to learn to live with out it. There is a Japanese salad dressing that my hubby and I both love and I've made it homemade even (turned out great!), however it calls for soy sauce which is a definitely part of the flavor profile. As you s

Question: Is it cheaper to make your own almond milk? Cheaper than you can buy it? Seems pricey to make. Just sayin. Would love to, but not sure I can afford it. What do you think??

I got Herbert Shelton's Book called "Food Combining Made Easy" from the library. I am finding it to be a very difficult read, although the parts I AM grasping, I really like. Perhaps when my mind is more whole and I am more healed, I'll be able to better comprehend. I really want a chart to live by. Once I use it for a while, it'll be second nature and I won't have to worry about

Just wondering if you guys think that this would be a good dehydrator to have. I really have no idea what to even look for other than ratings, so your input would be appreciated. The link is in my last post on this thread.

Hi Therese, Yes, I have read some similar things. I certainly don't need anything messing with my already wacky hormones. Have you discovered any healthy products that are similar in taste to soy or tamari?? Thanks for your input. Much appreciated!

Good to know. Our Champion starting giving out alot of foam in the past 2 weeks or so. Had never done that previously, which is why we are getting new blade/cutter piece.

Yay!! So glad to hear back from you guys. We have the Champion and the blade is done. We need to replace it, the O-ring and need to get the blank piece, housing, etc. It all comes to well over $100 so we're going to get just the blade, blank and o ring for now. Will prob save up for the Omega as we don't have the $$ to do it right now. Thanks

No idea if this is true or not, but I cannot imagine this being a smart move for WF when they would risk losing customers over it. ??

So glad to hear that they got all of the cancer. My Mom will be 5 yrs cancer free next month. She, too, had breast cancer and had a single mastectomy. The Dr.'s did not recommend chemo or radiation for which I am so very grateful! Do you feel much like drinking fresh juice (that is if you have a juicer and someone to do it for you) Bless you as you continue to heal up. May God give you the

Yum!! Prana, I think that I read somewhere on this site where you had recommended a particular website for buying spices. I've searched high and low on here and cannot find the thread. Can you recommend a co or more that makes trustworthy raw organic spices? Also, anywhere to get safe olives? I've never tried any olives that were not done with lye so no clue how they will taste. If you'v

You should definitely start your own Post for the challenge. Good idea. You might consider including a link to somewhere online where one can learn how to do this if they've never grown sprouts before.

Maybe you should consider doing a 30 Day Juice Feast to re-set your body?? I am not an expert at all but saw a great film called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" was an inspiring documentary that is all about it.

Ok, so not gonna get into any debating as I don't know enough to do so. For those of you who ARE ok with herbs and spices, etc., have any of you found a brand that sells RAW, organic spices? Thanks!

So fun to read!! Panchito, I wanna be like you when I grow up. ha! I can't imagine getting all of the food into me. I'm impressed and look forward to being able to do the same someday. Do you grow some of your own food to save money? Michele, I am a bit stuck with eating the same things almost daily also. I'm getting tired of my food too! Thank God that Spring is coming and that there wi
