I wonder if anyone has any experience in healing sport injury with fasting. If so, can you tell what you did? Personally, about 2 weeks ago, I was training on bars with a friend, and tried out something he showed me I shouldn't have, and injured my right chest in the upper part on the parallel bars. Not very happy camper, I couldn't do much after that. It has been 8 years now that I eat 100

Hi all In September 2012, we held the first Raw Fruit Festival in Andalusia, Southern Spain. People from over 18 countries met during the festival, and had the best fruits you can imagine as the festival is held during the mango season! Local and organic mangoes, with figs, melons, bananas, cherimoyas and so many more. To get a better idea of the festival, take a look at the following videos,

If you look into Andalusia, look for "valle del Genal", The Genal is a river, and its valley and direct surrounding are "water safer" than the rest of Spain.

I can suggest Andalusia in the South of Spain. The climate is very good, and there is still plenty of quiet valleys with low density of population. We live there, in a valley near the sea, but far enough to keep away from the coast craziness (about 45 minutes drive in the mountain). This is not part of the industrial agriculture part of Spain. It remains a relatively poor and isolated part due

Surely they look really disorganized to their website. But look at his so called "green building design". Amazing, a guy talking about green building out of concrete!! Sounds to me his didn't do all his homework of this, and thinks green building is a nice drawing of a house on a rock, more or less... Not professional for sure, and I would recommend not to order a house design from him

I think the problem is that most people who want to follow the 811 come from a history of disease or bad digestive feelings, and feel so much

The latex is in the inner skin, the white part between the outer skin and the flesh. It's everywhere is fig trees, in the bark, in the leaves. Often, I get marks on the skin of my hands when it's fig season (I have several trees and pick about 40 kg every other day). But if the figs are picked ripe, there is no noticeable latex in the skin. If you get fig burns with store bought figs, most likel

The burn is due to the white milk, which is latex. When the figs are picked ripe, there is very little latex, or milk, coming out. But when picked greenish, there is lot of latex coming out. Also, if there is little latex, the effect will disappear after a couple days because the latex hardens over time. The latex burns lips and tongue because it's like scrubbing.

It all depends if you can buy food along the way or not. If you have to carry your food, you should go for lightweight food, such as dates and seaweed (rince them to avoid extra salt) during the day, and if you feel like it, nuts in the evening. I remember a story about an arabic town being under siege for months and sustaining only on dates and water.

I take it from a big biology book: "Life: the science of biology" BTW, in the same book, written by biologists, there is the different sources for vitamins. And for B12, one of the main source is water! It's in the book, because water with cobalt is sufficient for intestinal bacterias to produce B12 (a cobalt based compound). So simple!

I don't mean to be aggressive, just informative. No need to reply aggressively. I've never been a seed, but if you knew me, or took the time to ask why I said what I said, you would know I'm a farmer. I live on my farm, grow my food and food for others. I have an orchard full of fruit trees I take care of, and a huge veggie garden. I have compost piles, not just bins, and small trees grow in t

If you feel like you need to know more about your food, grow it! Plant trees, plant veggies, grow your food, and you'll know what water is used, how they are handled, how fresh they are. And you'll feel happy and rewarded by Nature by eating something you worked for really, and not virtually like you buy something in a store. Otherwise, regarding "Personally I believe the nutrition in fruit

Like almonds, to remove the skin of cashew, they steam them. And like that they look perfect. But there are some hand shelled cashews. They don't look as nice, more like pieces with knife cuts. But they are much tastier. Look at the montecristo cashews from equalexchange.co.uk

Hi Fuganetti To give you an idea of what I mean by missing fuel to start eating up your muscle: I ride mountain bike, and go for 4 to 5 hours rides. Be sure in winter time, it's pretty harsh riding in the cold and the mud. Like you I have my rituals, and one of them is not to eat before riding. I go on in the morning, not eating, and not eating during the ride, just drinking water (like you, I d

Hey Fuganetti There is a big difference between strength training and workouts (like RB does if I'm correct), and endurance training. If after your training you go on protein catabolism, that doesn't mean you are missing proteins in your diet, but fuel! If your body goes into "eating" its own proteins and your muscle, that's because it doesn't have enough fuel to go on. Then maybe you
