121. Re: durien
I have never had a durien yet. I went to buy one at the asian supermarket by me and I told the chinese lady who owned the store, that I've never had a durien and wondered if I should try it. She spoke in her accent and said, "NO, you won't like, don't buy! Here buy this, you'll like" and she handed me a dragon fruit.

When I was pregnant, I used to eat big red ripe tomatoes like apples. I couldn't stop eating them. As for being puffy while I was pregnant......, I couldn't blame the tomatoes.

"as I looked back, I saw the bull in the distance with the sort of look like it didn't know what to do."
I know everyone here is mentioning the energy source of trees, but did you ever think about the BULL. I believe animals can sense danger, plus you being raw, the bull senses picked up on that, that you were not a threat to him.
I have noticed a change in dogs towards me. Be

I try to do without seasonings, herbs and spices. I also found out that Nori isn't so raw even if it says so because I read they have fish scales in them. I try to just stick with Fruits, Veggies, nuts and seeds since I've been reading the 811 diet book. Dr. Graham hit it dead on when he said that seasonings, herbs and spices are mucous forming. I never knew why I would get that way after a b

I know what you mean about hiking. I went to visit my father in the summer, upstate New York in Ithica. We hiked everyday for 2 weeks and the "Finger Lakes" trail was my favorite! Really breath taking! Now where I live in Florida, there aren't any trails.

eating lots of fruits has cut down my cravings!!!
some people go by the 5-5-5 rule. One meal should be no more than $5.00,
5 or less ingredients and takes 5 minutes to make.

So how do you get out of this vaccine shot or any vaccine shot that is mandatory? My son has his 12 year old shot coming, or he won't be able to continue in school if he doesn't get it.

I love to take raw asparagus and cut it up in bite size pieces and throw them into my salads. It adds an extra crunch. Tastey!

I like coco's question, I too, am interested to know what dietary measures help keep lips moisturized and also, what foods shouldn't I eat that makes them very dry.

136. Nuts
Fact: When a whole raw nut is soaked, it activates the enzymes, making it a live food or an enzyme active food.
Question: Will the enzymes still activate if the raw nut is not whole (as in... broken, chipped, cracked or sliced)?????
I have not heard this question come up yet, and would love to know the answer.

Yes I used to go through this a lot. Until one day I said what you said, "I need to take a break from all the gourmet foods at raw restaurants and at home too. I'll go weeks without it and then go to meet friends at the raw restaurant and I can't stop eating, appetizer, entree, and desert all at once and I never eat that much, it's like 3 days worth of food in one sitting!

I have ordered this book finally because I have noticed that I'm not eating enough fruit. In fact if I eat an orange a day, that is good for me. I love veggies all day long. So I want to know about this book even though it may have some harsh reviews, I still want to know if it may work for ME.

What helped me with my cravings of Mike 'N Ike jelly beans and Chips and salsa at restaurants is finding out exactly what the ingredients inside them are. When I read about it, I almost gaged, thinking; is that what I'm putting into my body.
I know you still crave it, but when you actually stop eating it, you stop craving it.

150. Re: Losing my Hair
My hair was falling out a lot especially when I was pregnant 8 years ago and I wasn't raw yet. I was addicted to eating salads for some reason and also lemon juice, I couldn't get enough of it. My hair was falling out all over the place, it was like I was shedding. But I shrugged it off to being pregnant and hormones. I figured it'd grow back afterwards. And it did.
Now that I'm on raw an
