I bought a pomegranate last week and decided to have it today. Well, cut it open I found out the seeds were pink and white. Last winter when I bought pomegrantes the seeds were a deep red. Is my pomegranate okay to eat if the seeds are pink/white?

Since 1991 I've had melasma. It has never gone completely away since then. It does lighten a lot in the winter. I able able to hide it with makeup. Has anyone here ever had melasma or know someone who had melasma and went raw and it cleared their melasma. You would not want to see my face without makeup. I've bascially learned to live with it. I must wear sunscreen every single day, even whe

I bought a bag of kelp this week. I've never had kelp before. I thought I could just take it out of the bag and eat it. Well, it was too hard to chew or bite off? Can someone help me out here?

I'm trying to eat raw. I'm not 100%. I am totally addicted to caffeine. I have terrible brain fog since cutting back. I just can't quit totally because I can't function at work when I try. When the brain fog is really really bad, I find that having a little bit of coffee clears the fog.

One thing I have learned is not to believe everything you read on the www. I will buy into personal experience much more than what someone is touting on the web. You never know who has an agenda (selling a product). Just sharing my thoughts here and I am not saying anything posted from the web cannot be true. I really appreciate all the feedback and will weigh any advice/comments given. Than

Amazing!! The reason I am concerned with iodine because I stopped using table salt/any salt in the late 70s and developed Graves Disease/hyperactive thyroid. The big idea circulating at that time was that salt was bad for you. I had 90% of my throid removed.

Okay, I have Nutiva Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil so I'm assuming it is okay to eat. I've been using it as a moisturizer. LOL

I'm confused is conconut oil good for you? Young coconuts would be very hard for me to get where I live. Can it really lower cholesterol? Thanks everyone for sharing! I really appreciate the feedback. Food for thought.

Jgunn, I have been using fitday for about 6 months now and my fat is almost always low, around 15-20 per day, one day out of the week it may be as much as 30. Thanks for recommending this site I've recommended it to others who have believe they have issues with copper toxicity.

I've been on the fence about going 100% raw. I eat very little meat, very low fat, and yet I have high cholesterol which I've been told is genetic. Anyone here bring high cholesterol down with eating raw?

I've been reading and thinking of going raw. I eat about 50% raw now. But I wonder how do you get enough salt?
