I am so irritated that the government pushed this on us without proper instruction of how to dispose of the mess afterwards. Or does it actually tell you on the package how to dispose of the bulb or clean up it it leaks or breaks?

I just heard on the radio that some "experts" are saying that this quake has shifted the Earth on its axis...I thought everything looked like it was leaning at my house...lol
Seriously thought, the earth shifting on its axis...now that's a scary thought. I don't know if it is speculation or not - will have to wait for more news stories to surface on it.

Well, thanks to coco for bringing up this topic & this guy's vids, I have just ordered $150.00 worth of straight razor/blades/stand/brush (synthetic) & other shaving goodies.
Decided it was time to retire the electric shave, after watching some vids on blade shaving.
He makes me nervous with how fast he shaves...but then again, he is a "pro" at it...

Personally, I am put off by other members posts at times, but I usually let it pass...

There are always a couple bad eggs for any product in reviews. I wouldn't let that review sway my purchase. Check the reviews at several different sites to get a feeling for the product overall.
I like epinions & amazon reviews. I don't put a lot of faith in reviews at the actual product website, as they would obviously be biased...

I heard about this, maybe 3 + months ago...on a "conspiracy" radio show that I sometimes listen to. I didn't really follow up on it, but it would not surprise me.

Most "modern" kitchens have at least one 15 amp circuit, if not a 20 amp. I am not sure if Blendtec rates that amp as the max draw or not - it would be interesting to know.
Also, you could get one of those "kill-a-watt" meters to connect in the line to determine exactly how much draw there is during use.

It's settled then - the general feeling on here is not to do it. Although they would be ground to a powder & would most likely cause no problems, I imagine the taste would be "off", as prev. mentioned.
On other forums, many do eat the hulls as well...

From the other sites I am reading they say to chew the shell up well before swallowing. Supposedly the extra fiber is good for you. I don't know all the details, and it seems many on the other sites don't either.
Maybe it is just a case of being to lazy to hull them first, as they are a pain to break open, esp. if you plan on using many in a recipe.
