One time I went to Red Robbin (a burger joint). I noticed they had the option of putting guacamole on their burgers, so I asked for a side of just guacamole. The waitress was so amused she gave it to me for free, lol But yeah, I agree with the others - don't compromise your standards, its not worth it. Just eat beforehand. In the past I have brought in my own food, asked for an extra plate

Simple recipe: - Coconut oil - honey / agave - cacao nibs Blend these up in 3:2:1 ratio (example: 1 cup cocunut oil, 2/3 cups honey, 1/3 cup nibs) until everything is smooth, pour into a mold and freeze. It work work better with cacao powder, but if you have nibs just blend longer.

Right on with the source, loeve. I tried to find one before I posted but couldn't. That does make more sense, that different organs would replace cells at different speeds. I haven't read 80/10/10 yet, but I assume that Doug would talk about something along the lines of the original question.

They are not best. Search the forums for sprouting beans. Red beans are toxic and will make you sick if eaten raw. Same with its relatives such as pinto. Don't eat those. Sprouted chickpeas are not as bad although they give many people gas. Mung beans are good. Sprouted peanuts may be ok.

Your body's cells are constantly reproducing and being replaced with new cells. Every 7 years, you have a completely new set of cells. I don't really get your question, but yes, when you convert to raw your body breaks down and must rebuild, just as it has always done. However, its a little more extreme during the transition period as the body adapts to the new internal environment.

Raw peanuts are toxic I believe (being a legume, not really a nut). I don't believe one can eat them raw. Even when bought in the shell, I think they are roasted.

Going off what Tamukha said, it might be good to figure out your cravings. Like, there are psychological reasons other than taste and texture. Perhaps certain memories of eating them growing up, etc. Sometimes this simple understanding will help curb and addiction and give a greater sense of control.

I have given blood about a dozen times, several of which since going raw 1.5 years ago. However, I went to donate yesterday and my iron was too low, 12.2 instead of the minimum 12.5 Has this happened to anyone else? What do I need to eat more of in order to raise my iron?

Sometimes putting limitations on yourself can be more damaging than good. A person is more likely to crave something if he knows it is off limits, that is human nature. Try to encourage yourself with positive thinking and constructive self-talk rather than thinking of what foods will make you a "failure" if you eat them. It can be hard, I know, especially with financial burden, but y

You are right. What I said was under the assumption that certain conditions are met. The first is that your body is clean enough to react to harmful foods. People eating SAD are desensitized and over-tolerant to toxic foods. However, the cleansing process makes your body more sensitive again. And, overtime, if you are focusing on continual cleansing then certain foods will naturally fall out

I think the best thing to own is a blender because you can make smoothies which are bost functional and delicous. A food processor is more for making recipies which are fun but not essential. Same with a dehydrater. I'd say the hierarchy goes blender>juicer>processor>dehydrator. Oh, and a good sharp knife+cutting board makes things much nicer. If you get a juicer, in terms of popu

Just listen to your body, its as simple as that. If you can eat a ham and sausage pizza and feel great afterwards, then why stop doing that? However, we know this isn't the case so we don't do it. Its the same with the raisons. If you feel great after eating them, then continue to eat them. If not, then eat something else that does make you feel great. Its as simple as that. Whether or n

It is counterproductive if you eat too much, too fast, yes... but I think the solution is simple: eat less, slower. I am being perfectly serious - here are some tips: - Make a smaller smoothie - Take a smaller gulp at once - Chew it. It might be weird to chew a liquid, but this 1) mixes in your saliva which helps digestion, and 2) makes it take longer to consume - Take your time May

They're making our food out of people. Next thing they'll be breeding us like cattle for food. You've gotta tell them. You've gotta tell them!
