Pborst, green smoothies were always at LEAST a quart. As for the rest, I don't know because I didn't measure. I can't say, but salads were in huge bowls. That doesn't help much...

I was feeling the same as when I am a cooked vegan. My goal for going raw is to quit eating bread because I eat a lot of it. I want to also feel what it's like to get a little more energy because every where I read people keep saying that when they went raw they got a spike in energy.

I was talking about this on another forum and some of the people said that my diet was too "processed" raw and too high in fat. What are your thoughts? How are your diets?

Also forgot to mention that I take spirulina tablets daily and also a b12 spray almost daily. My diet before raw was vegan and what I thought was healthy but turns out it wasn't because I ate a LOT of bread. I never ate junk food that much however I would eat regular vegan desserts. I'd still eat raw foods as well just not regularly with a set quantity like if I saw a raw recipe that looked

The only problem is I've been at this for 2 weeks and I haven't noticed anything different yet. I didn't go through a detox nor did I get more energy like I've read everywhere. Is it just because it's only been 2 weeks? I read all these stories of people going raw and after only like 3 or 4 days their energy is off the roof and they feel great! I feel great, but I felt great before I was all

I forgot to add that I am sorry for not putting quantities of food. I don't measure...just take what I want. The green smoothies however are all a quart or more a day. Salads usually consist of 3-4 handfuls of the greens mentioned. Thanks again!

I have been raw for two weeks yay me! I would like you to take a look at my food logs for the weeks and see how I am doing so far. I haven't really noticed any benefits yet, but prior to this raw I was a healthy vegan that ate raw foods when I felt like it. Here are the logs: Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I hate that it is so expensive and that lots of raw dessert recipes when they call for chocolate they sometimes call for like a cup. I'm making a raw chocolate cake next week (my own recipe but I'm gonna tweak it) and I use 3/4 of a cup, that is a lot of chocolate. It's worth it though because chocolate is amazing!

Hey everyone. My name is Marty and I've been vegan for almost 4 years now. I've always been into raw foods and have eaten them but just here and there. My goal is to really go 100% or at least around 80% raw. I'm 23, gonna be going to university next fall to study Anthropology and Chinese studies, I love anything Native American, I also love tea and music. I've always came to this site for
