Over half of the rainforests are gone. No agenda, just pure fact.

We are clear cutting rain forests at a ferocious rate. We don't have enough room to grow enough food to feed the people on this planet even with a vegetarian diet. Almost a billion people are starving in this world. Even if we leveled off at 7 Billion people, we would still have to destroy millions of acres of delicate ecosystems to feed them. Overpopulation is the bull in the room that even

The irony is that iodine was added to table salt to reduce the wide deficiency. Now that people are being told to avoid salt, the number of people with deficiency is starting to rise.

My point is that with nearly 7 billion people, people need to stop breeding. Also, as you might have noticed, I put "educate" in quotes because they are not educated, but brainwashed to accept this certain standard of civilization. Anyone can farm and that's what we need to do. We need to progress toward an agrarian society instead of an industrial one. This is the only way our plan

Assets do have sales tax unless they are real estate. But you would pay capital gain taxes when you sold it at a profit. What we should have sales tax on is stocks. Even a 1% sales tax would increase tax revenue substantially and stabilize the market by reducing day traders. Taxes are what keep the poor poor and the rich rich. My boss buys an airplanes and gets to deduct 100% of its value fr

I never said the rich were appropriately taxed. I said that their wealth is not entirely horded as previously suggested. Much of it may be in assets instead of cash.

Most wealthy people do not take money out of circulation. When someones net worth is valued, it includes their assets such as real estate, stocks, bonds, etc. Cash alone makes such a small return on investment that most people would rather invest than horde. This is why when the market crashes, so many people who were rich become broke. Many of them have huge loans to still pay back, but no

Yes, P90X has HIIT in a few videos, but insanity is where it is at. It is way beyond HIIT. Where HIIT is a steady state workout with short bursts of 30 seconds to a minute, Insanity is 3 minutes of max intensity with a 30 second rest. I didn't lose much fat, but my cardio is awesome. My resting and max heart rate dropped, and my aerobic threshold went way up.

Jonathon, Apart from the treatment of egg laying hens and the male chicks born to them, 1 large egg is over half fat and contains 70% of the maximum daily cholesterol. A handful of nuts will give you similar nutrition with no cholesterol, and much less saturated fat. The only thing you can't get from plant based sources that you can from eggs is B12. If we lived in natural conditions,

Suncloud, I plan to do a P90X/Insanity Hybrid. I don't think it will help to build up slowly. I think that would allow my body to go back the way it was before. I plan to hit it hard. After all, the increase in growth hormone from a fast is perfect for building muscle. Powerlifer, That is interesting. Well, hopefully my fast will help the issues. I am hoping it speeds up my fast

Hi Denise, My best guess is that when blended up the fruit, you ripped apart all the fiber and caused the fructose to be released. When you eat it, your blood sugar spikes quickly, then plunges. I have the same issue with smoothies. I love them, and they give me a great rush before a workout, but I can crash afterwards.

I am a corporate pilot at present. However, I would like to be a personal trainer/nutritional consultant. I am studying the personal trainer stuff now. I am 37 and have been flying a long time. Tired of working for rich people who don't pay well. If I am not going to get paid well, I would rather help people.

Here is another reason I don't donate to the Salvation Army. In 1996 they released some financial info that showed 2 billion in revenue and 1.6 billion in expenses. So, only 20% of the money you donate actually. I would rather buy food and give it to the homeless directly.

I don't donate, but I do ask them questions to see how much they know. Most think that if diet was an issue, "they" would tell them. You mean the "they" that run the pharma companies who want your money to fight instead of cure these diseases? Not all diseases and not everyone with a diet curable disease can be cured with diet. Sometimes genetic mutations, chemicals, an

23. Fasting
I am currently in day three of a waterfast. I wanted to know how many other people fast and what they experienced. I haven't felt too many hunger pains, but I am a little chilly at present. I have been drinking a lot of tea and water. Anyone have any good spice mixes for water? I have been putting in some ginger which helps my stomach settle. I also use cinnamon in my tea which alleviate

Yes, the middle and lower class of society give away much more than the rich in terms of % of income. And if you break that down to disposable income, the percentage is even much greater. People like Oprah don't give away money for the benefit of the people receiving. she gives away money for publicity sake. If she was really interesting in helping people, she would live much more modestl

Suncloud, I have done 3 rounds of P90X, and 1 round of insanity. Although I did build a good deal of muscle and have excellent cardio endurance, I did not lose any noticeable amount of fat. My body burns carbs very well, but when the carbs are gone, I become very weak and my metabolism drops significantly.

Hi Trive, Yes, I know of Meetup, but nothing in my area. I don't live in a vegan friendly area at all. I have only meet one vegan and one vegan by marriage since I moved here. I was all excited that a raw foods store opened up less then a mile from my house. However, when I went to visit, the place smelled like rancid meat because they sell raw meat. Gag me with a spoon!

I have a Nesco FD-60 and it works well. Although I haven't used it in a while since the health food store I shop at carries a wide range of dehydrated fruits. The irony is that the dried fruits are much cheaper than if I did it myself. One thing I did like to make where dehydrated yam chips. Yummy!
