No problem! I've been very satisfied with everything I've gotten from them. Especially the breakfasts!

I recently found Pure Market Express which makes it SO much easier for me to stay 100% raw, and I was wondering if there were any other Food Delivery Programs for Raw Food that is throughout the US, instead of just local areas (since I live in Memphis, TN). If anyone is interested, the website is www.puremarketexpress.com

Personally, I love Kimchi. I've never seen it with shrimp in it, though, but I can guarantee you, if it is there, it is cooked. No one wants to get sued over food poisoning cases.

I think I've actually read not to eat fruit after a meal because it sits in your stomach and ferments while all of the previous food is still being digested.

6. Nori
Any raw nori I've tried, I just can't get past the taste of pond water. I know roasting gets the taste out. Has anyone tried soaking in a little salt water, and then dehydrating to get rid of the taste?

I don't like using any kind of sugar substitutes (I find that any time I use them, I end up craving real sugars with a vengeance), and stevia always has an odd taste/after taste to me.

Thank you again! I don't consider myself an athlete, but I do workout at least 6 days a week with cardio, and weights 5 days a week. I like to think I have a good diet, but protein would be what I'm lacking since I tend to eat mostly fruits and veggies. What throws me off from the Sunwarrior protein is that it contains stevia. I think I'll try using the Smoothie Booster with a smoothie in the

Thank you again! And ONE more question. LOL What would you recommend for a mix that has a good amount of protein, as well as greens/superfoods? Or is it better to just mix two to get what I need?

There is a definite taste difference but I have no idea how to explain it, but I think Tamukha did it well. I found a grinder once that had white, black, and red (or pink) peppercorns in it, and that has been my FAVORITE pepper mix. Too bad I'm almost out!!

Very interesting!!! So here's another question for you. . . What do you think about the Vega Smoothie Infusion or Smoothie to Go? I was looking at their Whole Meal product, but I'd really rather not consume sugar substitutes, even if Stevia is a natural product. I'd like to find something that combines both protein and greens/fruits. I have problems with craving sugars and I read that sometim

I was thinking about using my vitamix to heat it, since I will be blending it in there anyway. But. . . I'm thinking my boyfriend may kill me if I let it run that long at 6:00 in the morning. LOL

I think all of Ani Phyo's books are good for beginners. They aren't very overwhelming. Jennifer Cornbleet is pretty good, too.

The dehydrating sounds like a great idea! Out of curiosity, has anyone tried gently heating smoothies in the winter? I'm a very cold natured person, and I hate the cold, so winter makes me miserable. And the idea of drinking a cold smoothie makes me want to shudder!

Powerlifter, do you have an opinion on Amazing Grass? That's another version I saw that was reasonably priced.

Thank you! I do eat two salads a day, so I'm getting a benefit from those (and not nasty iceberg lettuce LOL).

Are there any raw green powders that people would recommend? I was thinking about adding them into smoothies, if that is even possible. . . ??? Instead of making a full green smoothie. I was thinking about taking a magic bullet to work to make a smoothie, but I know they aren't capable of really blending up full greens, like spinach, very well.

Generally, I don't have time in the mornings to make a smoothie, and I think my boyfriend would kill me if I woke him up with the VitaMix at 6 in the morning. Are smoothies and green smoothies something you can make the night before and stick in the fridge? Or maybe stick in the freezer and then just thaw in the morning???

What your partner doesn't realize is that different people have different sensitivities, so it wouldn't affect everyone. Luckily. I have only cut them out for a week or so, so far, and even then not so well because I would eat something like kimchi, and then realize, Crap, that has peppers in it! So I am going to try to cut them out for several weeks and see. My knee does seem to be feeling b

I also had to eliminate tomatoes. I was having moderate knee and ankle pain, so I've decided to cut out the tomatoes and red peppers that I was having daily (several times in the case of the tomatoes) with my salads to see if it would help. I can't help but find myself wishing that they won't be the cause!

I recently tried a Golden Melon for the first time and loved it. I saw it at Costco. Unfortunately, that means I'll probably never see it again, because Costco isn't always good about keeping things in stock.

I did have some teeny tiny tails after soaking overnight. I'm using Red Quinao, if that might make a difference. The brand is Eden Organic, I think. I soaked overnight, then rinsed. Waited 12 hours, rinsed again, waited another 12 hours, rinsed again. Let them dry and they were ready. I'm in Memphis, TN, and our temperature stays around 73-75 degrees inside (too cold for me!!!). Only light

Honestly, this is the best site I've found for Raw Fooders that are open minded and actually well-informed, rather than just believing anything they hear. I'm only about 75-80% raw, and this is the only site that I feel free to say that without really being judged, or reprimanded.
