My first attempt at wheatgrass was ok, a little strong but not bad, but my barley grass almost came up as soon as I swallowed it, I have to mix it with pineapple or apple juice to choke it down

I just bought his detox book as Dan the man was talking about it. Have not had time to read much of it yet but it looks good from the bits I've read. I have been eating a lot of oranges and juicing them lately. Body has a craving.

I have never cared much for beets but when shopping for produce last week I found myself drawn to buy some juicing. My body must have been wanting something that is in them. I did like them juiced as long as I didn't have too much in there.

i have found with my omega 8004 i juice the greens, then the apples or citrus in the middle usually cut the stringy stuff like celery into short pieces and finsh with the harder stuff like carrots as i find that kind of pushes anything left in there through the rest of the way. its still a work in progress and am still experimenting but so far this seems to works for me. i too have a sweet tooth

those were great videos, thank you for sharing. and i agree, i like what he had to say about the orange juice as well. i also found the bit about ulcers quite interesting as i suffered with them for years. they havent really bothered me in some time now but if they come back, i now know what i will do to heal them.

Just made a juice from 5 stalks of celery, 8 carrots, 1/2 red bell pepper, piece of ginger, 2 small potatos. I also sprinkled a liberal amount of ceyene pepper over it before I drank it. It was pretty good, not quite as sweet as I'd have liked, my palate has not adjusted yet but still enjoyable. I could feel the health as I swished and swallowed. I forgot to mention, I chopped everything into

I'm still trying to educate myself too before I attempt a switch to raw. I'm going to have to follow this topic. You all seem to give such good advice. It just seems to make sense as I read through it anyway.

Yeah! It came today, first juicing attempt was ok, just threw in odds and ends from the fridge. It was not bad at all. Seemed to clean really easy, just a few minutes. So far I'm happy with it. Need to get to the store, have to drive 45 miles for organic though on the downside. Juice head in the making

I ordered the omega 8004, it looked to be one of the most versatile models in that price range. I'm sure there are others just as good but with the warranty of 15 years, looked easy to clean, and makes baby food etc it just really caught my eye. I hope it's as good as it looked. I will update when I've used it a few times too. This will be my first juicer so I'm very excited about it.

watching that video, it did appear to yield a considerable amount more with the pulp being dryer as well. looks like an excellent machine other than the lifting with that model.

hi all, i live in South Dakota, i'm new to the raw food lifestyle, looking to learn and figure out ways to start adding more raw foods into my diet. maybe someday go all raw but want to work into it slow at first as to not overwhelm myself. i ordered a juicer that should be here in a couple days. pretty excited about this new found knowledge.
