Good find, Jennifer. How many people know to look at ears! A fused lobe VS a detached or semidetached one in this case.

"Funny" how the container ship just happened to lose power as it approached the bridge. SMH. Or, maybe these things do just happen, but I am not so sure about anything anymore - too many demons running our societies.

QuoteRawPracticalist >>There are millionaires who live regular or frugal lives. But the Kardashians are BILLIONAIRES ... There is a difference Maybe the level of waste and pollution is proportional to the billions you have... Ha ha ha! Anyway, I would not make too much of a distinction between someone who is "worth" half a billion to one who is a True Billionaire.

I guess you could buy a whole bunch of garlic (better still, grow it if you have the resources), put it through your garlic crushing device (they are really neat little tools) and slowly dry them either in a dehydrator or in the oven at a low temperature; but a lot of the newer ovens don't go low enough. I sure love the older stoves!

Great comment, Jennifer. I don't hate the rich for being rich; I hate them for the way they live. I would lay down my life for a multi-millionaire or billionaire who lives in a 2,000 square foot house and drives an ordinary car, and does charitable work with his own two hands. But I don't have to worry about dying just yet - because there is no ultra rich person who lives that way.

As far as I can tell, that sappy story accompanied by the bullfighter and the bull photo, that's fake. But apparently that bullfighter was badly injured and quit the sport and found that he had a sympathy for animals. I think that part is accurate. Re Quora, it's generally not a friendly place for the likes of me. What do you think of that site in general? I was banned years ago for not

That is an impressive array of microgreens you've got. Now, about "go to the gym regularly", that is pretty artificial and not in keeping with natural health practices which you promote. How about "Do meaningful, useful, productive, SATISFYING physical labor on a regular basis". Where I live, it's clearing snow, cutting grass, gardening, etc. but there's more. Lik

Never heard of this before you put this information here. In the UK, 1 in 3 teenagers aged 12 to 18 has been prescribed antidepressants. This is beyond belief - in the real sense of that phrase. Maybe someone is fooling around with numbers. In any case, I can think of a lot of reasons to throw MDs into jail - 20 years of hard labor, not a luxury prison - and this is the latest. Pres

I saw this on Quora. Some commenters after the article say this is fake. It appears to be partly fake, but not completely. You would have to read the comments to understand what I mean. Also the fact check site.

There is no evidence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, or any virus for that matter Some parties say that there is, but their take is that these viruses are the result, not the cause of so-called "infectious illness". Yes, there could be things called viruses (a bit of DNA surrounded by a coil of protein). Why not. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. I'd add that the basis

@J.R. Someone once put it this way: You don't get an illness; you earn it. Yes, there are such things as "germs"; but try telling 99% of the population that we don't have to "fight" them, kill them, avoid them. It is a hopeless cause.

@doghouse reilly. You should have no difficulty finding the above mentioned zucchini seeds. Lots of seed companies sell themm. The Costata variety is the better of the two, though the Cocozelle is better than the hybrids you buy at the grocery store.

Quotedoghouse reilly QuoteHorsea My response is to state the simple truth: everyone I know or see or hear about who has the same health problems (as vegans, rawfooders, etc.) is a meat and dairy and egg eater. Yes, this is very true...somehow vegan health issues are always caused by veganism, but when anyone else has a health issue it's just considered normal. Thanks for your comment!

An example is a snake bite, and venom that is put into the prey. It is coming from OUT not from IN. And for you, because it is coming from OUTSIDE it is not harmful. There are such things as outright poisons, i.e., substances which were not meant to enter our bodies. "Germs" are not in that category. "Germs" are your body's response to dead, degenerate or dying tissue.

Quotedoghouse reilly I find cucumber noodles much more palatable than zucchini noodles. Standard issue store bought zucchini are not too tasty. If you want really good tasting zucchini you have to grow it yourself or get some from somebody who grows it in their garden. IMO the best variety (heirloom) is Costata Romanesco. Cocozelle is quite nice, too.

Every "old" person I have ever seen (say, over 70) and have known since they were younger, has thin legs, thinner than previously. So this is supposed to indicate loss of muscle. They have all been meat eaters all their lives. Some of them have been physically active, too. So, what gives, if meat is supposed to keep your muscles nice and big and youthful...

Many years later, Dr. Mercola is on the you-must-eat-beef-or-suffer-thinnng-muscles campaign. "Eat beef for carnosine or you will be sorry!" Mind you, I notice that he does say you can take beta alanine instead of his carnosine supplement: Another alternative is to supplement with beta-alanine, which is the rate limiting amino acid in the formation of carnosine. According to a

Quotedoghouse reilly It's kind of ridiculous to use Viktoras as an example of a raw vegan diet being insufficient for maintaining health and vitality. His versions of raw vegan diet have been very low calorie and quite weird, frankly speaking. Is it surprising that living on 200 calories a day of sprouts and Wheatgrass for years at a time and then (by his own admission) binging and engaging in bu

Or as normal daily nutrition? What did you do for protein? Hello Horsea I was shocked to see this question Are you thinking fruit doesn't contain protein? Not enough? How would you know?

Thanx for the link to that video. There is much discussion in the comments under the video of the interview about the fact that Pitchford doesn't look so hot health-wise. However, that would depend on how old he is at that time. If he is 80, then he looks OK. Some people really are healthy but when they get old, they look wan, weak and too thin, but I would not be too quick to judge. We see
